Before the game I would have been happy with a draw, I am happy with a draw, I'm not happy in how the draw happened. We need to sort this out, It happens to other teams I know, and maybe it's just because I focus on Leicester and don't take too much notice of other teams but last minute throw aways happen to much for Leicester, Past and present players, The current team needs to concentrate.

I hear Dickov was playing again

Played well, deserved to win and annoying to concede at the last few minutes.

Stayed in the same hotel as the players so was very happy and got pictures with a few too,Howards a very nice man.

Arsenal just conceded late as well. It happens to everyone.

I know, Good.

I know it happens to everyone I said that, and maybe it does happen to other teams more than you think (I'm not so sure though...) but it happens to us so much, it seems.

We needed 4 points out of today's game and Sunday's. We are on target to achieve that. The manner in which we get these is of no consequence. It's annoying the way it happened, but it's the point we needed.

Swings and rounadabouts people. There's been games where we've nicked a point from defeat ourselves.

Maintain the home form, pick off points away and we're there.

Enjoy the rest of the Christmas break and chill out. Relax. No need to moan just yet!

When? This month? This year? Ever?

I think complaining about conceeding an equaliser to a team pushing for all it has got is a bit poor, and to imply that we have some kind of chronic problem in this area is nothing more than deluded.

Played 22 : Won 14 : Drawn 6 : Lost 2 : For 41 : Against 18 : Points 48 : Position - 1st

Spot on Daggers :chant:

Happy with a point. As gutting as it is to concede late on, I always felt Leeds were going to score.

Bringing Dickov on was the wrong decision, we were left with no-one chasing the ball after Fryatt went off and it turned into a one-way finish. Could of been a lot worse had King (maybe Berner) not cleared off the line early in the first half.

Well played lads, roll on Hereford.

Played really well I thought, especially first half when we were just too good for them. Fryatt was a bit quiet second half though and the lack of a couple of good chances second half to kill it off cost us. Still, happy with a point and a decent performance.

Considering the circumstances, I would have took a point beforehand.

Sickening to concede so late on, but very promising performance.

Always felt like they were going to score.

Stewards were wankers, I was never sitting down, they were fighting a lost cause, bloody women.

Roll on Sunday, nice to see Millwall drop points & were building a lead over 3rd place.

All those people who say we always seem to concede late goals. I bet we have won more points in the last 5 minutes than we've lost this season.

Leeds were shocking I didnt think much of them to be honest. Oakleys goal was good fair play to him. The Referee well dont get me started. Leeds stewards are the worst ive encounterd whilst going to football, does throwing kids out give the a confidence boost?

I was on a final warning. About 2 minutes in they got the police to 'have a word with me'. What did I do? 'Aint got a fcuking clue. Scagheads.

Fair result in the end. We didn't really create a great deal but Oakley took his goal brilliantly. In all fairness Leeds had the better of the limited chances and in the end got what they deserved.

The steward next to us (who to be fair was absolutely sound) mentioned Snodgrass had a habit of scoring late goals when he came on near the end. Bastard.

So it's two points dropped, but more than I expected us to get before the game. Not the worst result in the world.

I had a similar problem at Carlisle. The stewards said at half-time "We're watching you for the rest of the match". I had no idea why, and fortunately nothing came of it.

KilworthFox was on his final warning about ten minutes in

lol

Anyone fancy a real laugh - just go and read these "wonderful" fans having a bitchfest which puts anything we've ever had to shame: http://www.waccoe.com

Thread upon thread going on about how the crowd at ER has been shite all season, how no one gets behind the team and how Larry's primary job is to prevent them getting relegated. Fanbloodytastic lol

I was stood for 90 mins on the row behind you, and I had nothing said to me

I thought bringing on Dickov was a good decision, we needed someone to work the back four because Fryatt was knackered and Howard was winning most in the air so it made sense to keep him on.

However Dickov looked seriously unfit so the sub went a bit tits up really.

Thought Davies was absolutely brilliant, great pace and always snapping away at Leeds players. Never afraid to run into space when he hasn't got a pass on either.

I thought a point was a fair result, Leeds saw a lot of the ball second half and we failed to keep it.

Did we sit back, or did Leeds force us back in the later stages?

Both, our ball retention was shocking, hoofing to Howard and then everybody was too deep to pick up the seconds after he'd juimped for the header.

I am pissed off. Thought we played really well in the first half, and Leeds were there for the taking. Second half, we seemed happy to stick men behind the ball, thus inviting pressure, and I have to say I was not impressed with our time wasting. <_<

Grr.

As for the Leeds support, I saw them, but didn't hear them. :dunno:

Disappointing to conceed so late on but it had been coming for so long that it was just a case of putting off the inevitable.

Would have taken the point before the game and I'll take it now as I thought whilst Leeds were pretty poor, they had the better chances and we just never managed to get out of second gear. For me the main turning point was bringing on Dickov for Fryatt. Even though he was tired, Fryatt was still causing problems and winning us free kicks but Dickov seemed... uninterested really.

Shame to drop two points but the secret to promotion is winning the home games, and drawing the away games so I'm still fairly optimistic and now looking forward to the next game.

No we haven't.

We've won 5 (3 v. Bristol Rovers and 2 v. Leyton Orient) and lost 7 (3 v. Brighton, 2 v. Swindon plus the 2 today).

It's a bad habit which Pearson inherited from previous regimes which he has to date been unable to dispel, and makes the difference between a nine-point lead (which would be virtually unassailable) and a two-point lead (which isn't).

These character flaws may not matter too much in this league, but would be punished more severely at a higher level. The sooner they are sorted out, the better.

As for the game, we bossed it for the first hour (apart from Becchio's shocking miss), and then Leeds started kicking anything that moved, aided and abetted by some appalling refereeing by Mark Halsey. Some of our players (Oakley and Howard in particular  ) then started to let their minds wander towards Sunday. So we sat back, and that proved our undoing in the end.

Tunchev was immaculate again today and deserved to be on the winning side, while the away fans were magnificent.

It's a shame our £27 was rewarded with such a disappointing finish.
