act smiley Posted 11 January 2009 Posted 11 January 2009 Anyway, fcuk Dream Team or anything of that nonsense, The Hurricanes was the only football related drama that ever mattered... Didn't the plot to every episode of that resolve around some Mexican guy getting kidnapped, repeatedly?
Jimmy2Drags Posted 13 January 2009 Posted 13 January 2009 I won't list all the great 80's cartoons as that been done. All the above were great. Does anyone else remember Chocky? I guess things like metal mickey, rentaghost and old reruns of rawhide and rocketeer. YES......I knew it was real! Everyone who I've EVER mentioned it to looks @ me like I'm trippin....... also loved Fireball XL5.... & Starfleet....... Oh...& The lost city of gold
Bellend Sebastian Posted 13 January 2009 Posted 13 January 2009 also loved Fireball XL5.... It's dated ever so slightly. The fun really starts at about 2:27 Ivor the Engine outclassed Thomas. I always hoped Thomas would get derailed and crash into a ravine, but he never did. I stumbled across a film about him the other day, starring one of the Baldwin brothers. At least I think I did, it may have been a terrible dream
Libertine Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 Anyone remember Whatever You Want? And 50/50? 50/50 was really lame but I always watched it.

StanSP Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 50/50 was really lame but I always watched it. True. But it was always on when I got home from school, as was Get Your Own Back, which I believe has already been mentioned on here. Dave Benson Phillips (?) was a legend!

Corky Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Yep. Great programme. Scary though. It was a bit scary, you're right, but I loved it. Used to watch the videos all the time.
