Now on the OS

City boss Nigel Pearson has made four changes to his starting line up for the FA Cup clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

In come Mark Edworthy, Joe Mattock, Max Gradel and Paul Dickov for Matty Fryatt, Mark Davies, Kerrea Gilbert and Lloyd Dyer.

Berner is expected to move in to midfield, with Mattock filling the void at left-back. Dickov, who grabbed his first league goal of the campaign against Leyton Orient on Saturday, will partner Steve Howard in attack.

City: Martin, Edworthy, Tunchev, Hobbs, Mattock, Oakley, King, Berner, Gradel, Dickov, Howard.

No subs yet.

Amazing that our OS can't get the team up before Palace do.

No Davies or Fryatt.

3 defenders on the bench?! :dunno:

Would have liked to see Fryatt/Davies/Dyer on the bench if things not going our way. Good to see Porter back on the fringe once more and Gradel getting his chance.

Any news as to why the changes? Rumours of illness are rife.

Looking at the Palace line-up and our lack of three important players, this is going to be a bigger test than previously expected.

KOM SÅ LEICESTER!!!

No Dyer, Fryatt or Davies. Time for Gradel and Dickov to show what they are made off, I like it.

Evening all!

Just said Dyer and Davies suffering with illness.

Bit of a mystery about Fryatt, not on team sheet.....not ill.......hmmmmm.

Anyone shed any light on Fryatt?

Gives Dickov and Gradel and others to prove that they can play consistently and prove the doubters.

And does this hint that NP is saving the better players - Fryatt, Davies, Dyer - for the League rather than risk them in the cup, implying he sees the league as more important??

Another week to recover i suppose.

Lets hope.

He did come off early against Orient........wondering if he had a slight reaction. Good decision to rest.

Come on boys :chant::scarf: Stuff em!

I know.....but a guy can dream and be optimistic can't he?

Best left to the Chebs thread.

LEVI! :w00t:

He's only on the bench Dags. Doesn't mean he'll necessarily play. He's been on the bench before. And in the seats in the stand.

In fact the time he's spent on his arse this season it'll be interesting to see if he can still walk and run or whether he's perhaps developed a phobia about even going near a green field.:D
