Nationwider Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 You're a... I need a new word, everyone's using hero these days and legend is so last year. You're something anyway. Have you seen Slumdog Millionaire? I'm maintaining my streak of years without watching a real, actual film all the way through. I'm up to four now - so no Slumdog for me. My concession to art this year was a rather fetching torn snowflake crafted out of a folded page of Metro newspaper. Metro is so shit. Anything which carries full-page adverts offering cash for 2nd hand gold is unlikely to appear on Kirsty Wark's paper review.
MC Prussian Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 is this the 'new' what are you listening to now thread More like "What-are-you-REALLY-listening-to"...

Nationwider Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 It's definitely summer. It must be after today's scorcher. And I've been listening to a couple of little summery gems to herald the forthcoming months of unchecked sunshine: 1990's - 59 Jason Mraz - Make It Mine Snuggled up to them on the playlist today, and flying around in my head still... Tilly & The Wall - Beat Control La Roux - In For The Kill and some Nik Kershaw. And Broken Land by The Adventures, for fun. Brill.
