Joe. Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Absolutely superb performance from Liverpool tonight. Could have been so much more if it weren't for Casillas too. Shocking stuff from Madrid.
MC Prussian Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 I've missed another. And Sporting bribed the ref to let them lose 7-1. Obviously.
Samilktray Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Gonna have to turn over now. John Toshacks arse licking wont be welcomed in my house.
Corky Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Absolutely superb performance from Liverpool tonight. Could have been so much more if it weren't for Casillas too. Shocking stuff from Madrid. Agreed. Can Liverpool go all the way?
Samilktray Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Liverpool shouldnt be getting carried away with a 4-0 victory over a team relatively full of misfits.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Gonna have to turn over now.John Toshacks arse licking wont be welcomed in my house. Tosh has been under the sunbed too long. Face like a beetroot apart from a thin white line where his goggles would have been.
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 I enjoyed the Juve game, I personally thought Juve were the better team on the night, Chelsea were very average and although the English teams have dominated the CL (because of their foreign talent) over the last few years I didn't see too much difference over the two legs. I am very pleased I watched that game because it certainly opened my eyes a lot more to the football I love to watch. Well done to Chelsea and Juve for that game tonight and it was great to see Essien back, one player I really do like. Liverpool going through I wasn't too fussed about, I think it is obvious that I don't like Real, although I am not keen on Liverpool. If Barcelona can't win the CL this season then I would like to see Bayern or Man Utd lift old big ears. Bayern.... Need a say anymore, pants down and raped.
Katy Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Made the right decision in putting the Chelsea game on. The UEFA cup is where it's really at though

lildave3 Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Really enjoyable night of football, no matter which channel I had on. Liverpool were fantastic from the start, particularly Torres and Mascherano.
purpleronnie Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Now I know why Real Madrid got knocked out the cup in spain playing a 3rd divison side and why they are miles behind Barca...they we're truely dreadful, fair play to liverpool they punished them. Chelsea (although I didnt watch much) looked poor at the back but to get a result against Juve away they deserve to go through. Going to miss watching DP though.

Going to miss watching DP though. Not anymore. Think they have reduced the gap down to 4 points, partly thanks to going on a unbeaten streak of nine and Barca dipping in form too. I feel for Valencia though. They used to be good, and now it's just gone downhill.

Shrenchel Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Liverpool shouldnt be getting carried away with a 4-0 victory over a team relatively full of misfits. Apart from being dicked on by Atletico at the weekend Real's form has been really good of late.

Bert Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 A fair few people saying they could go bust by the end of the year. Ridiculous situation. At least we've got a chance of getting David Villa then.
Shrenchel Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 At least we've got a chance of getting David Villa then. It's a non-starter. Who would you drop?! Can't change a winning team. fook knows why they didn't take the obscene money Man City were offering for him. They'll probably end up getting a snip of that.
Darkzzz_ Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 So on to tonight then, again it looks great for the English sides. I think the other two will join Liverpool and Chelsea tonight. As for the big one, I can see Barca possibly struggling against Lyon. I hope I am wrong !
StanSP Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Made a bet with my mate that Man Utd will win 1-0. I get an extra 50p if they score in 63rd minute. He wins if Inter Milan score in 71st minute and win 1-0.
ACF Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 My tips for tonight. (not overall winners, just tonight) Roma 2-1 Arsenal Yanited 3-3 Inter Barcelon 4-1 Lyon Porto 1-1 Atletico
