Liverpool.

Fergie gets on my tits with his constant whinging about added time and poor refereeing. Other managers do it - but not on this level.

Liverpool for the title please :)

I don't mind who, I just want the title race to go on as long as possible....to the final day would be ideal.

But with Liverpool having the most draws in the league, and Man Utd looking unstoppable at the moment, I can't see this happening.

It'd be horrific if Liverpool won it. I've never hated a team before with so much passion, Yanited all the way.

It's like choosing between herpes and AIDS.

But as an ex-resident of Manchester, and with an inherent loathing for all things scouse, there was only one choice I could make.

Liverpool.

I don't really care much about either club but I don't understand why many people would want to see Man United win the league.

Surely it's a nice change to see Liverpool win? We might think of them as "one of the big four" but ultimately the Premier League's a three horse race at best and really no better than the SPL most years. Really it's been either Man Utd and Chelsea or Man Utd and Arsenal for far too long.

Errr.....no it isn't - not to those of us who barely survived the smug scousers (and the legions of glory-hunters that swarmed around them) celebrate trophy after trophy throughout the 70s and 80s.

Their fans laid waste to half of Europe in the process, leading to the Heysel stadium disaster which caused all English clubs to be banned from European competitions for FIVE YEARS.

I'd quite happily see them suffer for at least another decade without a Premier League title.

Football hooliganism in general was rife during the 70s and 80s, though, I think it's somewhat unfair to keep up that sort of primitive hatred now. I don't want to pull out some Thracian style analogy from leftfield but it isn't too far from holding a grudge against all Germans for the Holocaust or all Sewth Efrikans for Aparthied. Obviously those are extremes, but still.

The eighties are aeons ago - the fact of the matter is that in recent times two teams have dominated the league be it Man Utd and Chelsea or Man Utd and Arsenal and it's fucking boring. It'd be nice to be reassured other clubs have the capacity to do so.
