A League One Winners Parade?

Recommended Posts

No. Nothing to see. Stay in your homes and drink tea.

Normal service will be resumed next season, so brace yourselves for that instead.

I can't stand to see football fans enjoying themselves. Hardly the point, is it?

It's not big to boast about winning a league we should never have sunk to in the first place.

Save the party until we win our NEXT promotion.

Hitler was right.

If she lies big enough and long enough people will believe it was her bus.

Just because it runs under her name?

It's the team effort that counts, Daggers.

Ever felt left out? Depressed? Unwanted? Lost? Forgotten? Abandoned?

Cheer up and get high - with Cheerotamanicodrolon©.

Now available at your local pharmacy or, if you want it cheaper, on any street corner.

Just don't mind the bums.

I would definitely like a parade, IF we are promoted.

Why shouldn't we all celebrate this season. I know relegation was a massive smack in the mouth and League one isn't exactly 'where it's at' but what the management, players and fans have achieved this season is fantastic.

This is a much harder league than we have made it look and I think we've shown a lot of clubs how to conduct themselves in the lower leagues of English football.

let's not get all high and mighty now it looks like we will get out of this division, we're not out of it yet.

It would be worst than relegation to end up with egg on our faces now!

This.

I'm looking forward to our promotion parade of 2010.

Pathetic isn't it.

Some people need to take their heads out their arse's and realise where we are, and why we are where we are - due to the last few seasons.

They take the piss out of Leeds fans because they think they are something they're not, and then do it themselves - "We're too big for this league", "We shouldn't be in this league", "We shouldn't be celebrating something that is expected" e.t.c.

I don't want to be in this league ever again, but I have enjoyed this season, The most enjoyable season for many, and it may "only be League One" but we've done well, better than I and I would like to think many would have expected, Enjoy it, Celebrate it. FFS...5 years of shite - We got relegated to League One for a reason, We are going up and hopefully winning the league by many points for a reason.

lol

All they were saying was that it didn't warrant an open top bus! You can still enjoy and celebrate something without turning it into a parade.

It wouldn't be embarrassing just unnecessary. Same as if we'd won the Paint Pot Cup. Yes it's an achievement - and well done us if it happens - but I'd rather win the league and sneak back into the Championship before anyone notices we were gone, without shouting out about our success.

Let's win this league and then keep it in the logs as our shameful little secret of how we spent twelve months of our lives.

If LCFC had a parade, surely that would mean that there was some sort of achievement in winning this division? Bizzare

I remember the parade in 94 when we did Derby, that was a proud moment, winning the 3rd division is just redressing the balance.

Celebrating promotion would make us look like a right bunch of knuckle-draggers. It would be like beating up a five year old and then bragging about it to your mates.

Let's show a little class. If we win it, we'll have done a good job - well done Nige, handshakes all round and then back to business next season.

If we get out the bunting and the Tina Turner, we'll look the very opposite of a 'big club'...

There's a good reason for that  .
