Matt Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 On LCFCWorld, anyone got LCFCWorld and tell us what this is about? Is it Sir Alex Ferguson, or is it a gag leading us down the garden path? Is he saying something about Cleverley or something?
Ford Super Sunday Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 I havent watched the video, but the strap line says.. Sir Alex Backs Foxes 'Manchester United boss says Tom Cleverley's spell at City is benefiting youngster' Pictures are from MUTV
Russell352 Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 On LCFCWorld, anyone got LCFCWorld and tell us what this is about? Is it Sir Alex Ferguson, or is it a gag leading us down the garden path? Is he saying something about Cleverley or something? Fergie just basically says Tom is out on loan to get experience and that he's a good footballer. Says he's spoke to NP a few times who is really happy with his progress. Nothing we don't already know, really short clip.
StanSP Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 Sounds like he'll be heading back to United for next season. Wouldn't mind signing him permanently for next season but I doubt this will happen now.
Cobbo Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 The main thing you pick up from it is we are a club with a bit of history and he rates Tom Cleverley. Ability wise and the fact he's willing to make sacrifices to be successful so a good professional. Looks unlikely that he'll be signing for us anytime soon!

It's certainly encouraging that himself, Benitez and Wenger are sending players to us, so they obviously have some time and respect for Pearson.
MPH Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 getting positives from Fergie will only benefit us next season... am i being too optermistic in hoping this will mean we can get danny welbeck next season? but it will actually do us no harm at all in getting someone of very good ability from them next season.

Absolutely no chance bozo!
Edmund Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 You don't think Darren will get his dad to get some information out of our camp ahead of the game from cleverly.
bluebeau Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 Sounds like he'll be heading back to United for next season. Wouldn't mind signing him permanently for next season but I doubt this will happen now. Especially now that Cleverley has been called up to England u20 squad.
Tomassi Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 You don't think Darren will get his dad to get some information out of our camp ahead of the game from cleverly. oh dear it aint eastenders...
soley118 Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 Must be good for cleverley to know that sir alex is keeping an eye on him
Ultra Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 Paul Scholes may not be around much longer. Cleverley could be lined up to take over from him.
STUHILL Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 Paul Scholes may not be around much longer. Cleverley could be lined up to take over from him. Would say Anderson, Gibson, Hargreves, Fletcher, Carrick and few others I cant think of would be ahead of Cleverley for many years yet!
Alf Bentley Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 Paul Scholes may not be around much longer. Cleverley could be lined up to take over from him. So, we'd be forced to take Scholes on loan instead, then...
Koke Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 So, we'd be forced to take Scholes on loan instead, then... He can't tackle, so he'll be no good in the lower end of the fizzy pop league.
Flynny Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 Ooh, a bit name like Fergie remembered we exist, let's all have a little wank.
