It looks really bad. Ner not for me. I work at Canary Wharf and live in East London so while I live less than a mile from the demonstrations I don't have to go through that area to get home. Tomorrow might be a bit more interesting when the protest comes to Excel as that's pretty near to my work..

I am going out for a meal in Bethnal Green which should be OK, but I have to find a backstreet route to get there. Tomorrow I will be barricading myself in my apartment for the day. I don;'t think the protests will get very close to the Excel centre, the police presence is MASSIVE

James, if already didn't know , all SIkh temples have a free kitchen which offers food to all, the needy and the congregation. Anybody can just go in and have some food, as long as your not pissed etc, it's mostly vegeterian and it's usually very simple, but at most temples it's better then restaurants!!
