Jack, I can't believw you claim to be 'emo' with a real high depression score and you don't listen to EMO bands.

I don't claim to be, you nonce. But I am considerably more depressed.. than YAAAAOOOOUUU!

The higher the score is the more depressed you supposedly are btw. ^_^

I hate stuff like this. I mean there's no real danger on FT, a forum largely full of jokers. :P

But one whiff of this on a more teen heavy forum and it's competition time to see who can be the most depreshunz.

On a less whiney note, though, it's quite amusing how much more detailed this is to an actual depression test (as given to you by the doctor) which consists of about twelve questions you answer from "I agree, I strongly agree, I don't agree" etc. I can't for the life of me remember what the form's called and I can't find one on the internet.

It's pretty funny, though.

no contest - step forward mr B.E.Sebastian

It's quite long (took me about 20 minutes) so it's probably not the test you want to do for a joke, but if anybody wants to give it a go it asks really good precise questions. Hopefully one or two of you will do it and i'll be able to compare it to mine and see if it's as bad as it looks.

I scored 46/100 so it's quite worrying.

half of that 23 :P

I scored 56, however, I think having ME contributed to a higher score as they asked about energy and loss of appetite etc.

Overall results 49

You responded in a way that indicates moderate depressive symptoms. In the rest of the results, we will tell you whether you meet the criteria for a depressive illness diagnosis. However, even if you don't, keep an eye on the symptoms listed. If they get any worse or persist for a prolonged period of time (weeks or months), you should consult a physician. It would be wise to talk about it to your doctor.
