I actually can't wait to get this kit! I think it looks rather nice. :D

It looks like it'll be a nicer fitting in all so I reckon this kit will look better on me than the Jako one :P

And oh my God that life size cardboard cut out of Oakley wearing the new kit in the shop!!

I wanted to take it home with me. He looks bloody gorgeous in it!

He's such a babe!! :P

I'm very picky about the womens shirt because it's too easy for me to look bloody horrendous in a shirt! I like this seasons because it's a v-neck but I'll still buy next seasons.

Not sure if anyone else has said this but I feel we've been conned!!!

The whole 'no sponsor' thing always seemed like a PR stunt to please the fans, what weve actually got is a logo twice as big as the club badge, try and look at the shirt wothout your eye being drawn to the Joma logo!!

Ive read somewhere that Joma beat off lots of competition to win the contract, a cynical mind might suggest that they offered us more money with the condition that a massive logo exists in the middle of the shirt? - which is the same as a shirt sponsor I reckon?

I cannot think of anothre reason why such a large logo exists? No need whatsoever for it to be that big in my opinion!!

I do quite like the shirt but think we've been swizzed a little!!!!!

An absolute overreaction.

The logo is nowhere near the same size as a shirt sponsor lol

I agree, I think alot of people are overreacting about how big it is, I don't think it is much bigger than a normal logo on a football shirt - Certainly no where near 'as big as a sponsor'.

The shorts and socks are nice :dunno:

It could have done without that triangle-thing under the neck, but it's not as poor of an effort as it could have been. The long-sleeved version could be nice, but I'll probably hold off on buying any version because I don't really like wearing football shirts anymore.

Didnt say it was the same size as a shirt sponsor, I meant having a large manufacturers logo so prominent in the shirt is the same as a shirt sponsor, Its still advertising for Joma and therefore in my opinion its the same thing

So we have had two sponsors on this season's shirt? Jako and Topps Tiles?

Every club had the kit makers name on the kit, why would the kit makers not put it on?

What is the point you are trying to make? :dunno:

Cheers for pointing that out

I am aware every kit has makers name on it, im not an idiot.

The point im trying to make (which is pretty clear i thought  ) is that the logo is larger than usual, and in a very prominent position, and Im suggesting that maybe this gave Joma the upper-hand in the big battle to be our kit manufacturer?

If you dont agree then fine, no need to reply with sarcy comments..

Joma Logo ^^^

Jako Logo ^^^

If you moved that jako logo into the middle i doubt it would look any different.

Overreaction here i feel.

Also how similar does the neckline on jako away kit and our new joma home kit look lol

Difference being that the Jako logo is smaller and also nothing can tear you eyes away from that hideous topps tile logo, and this is my point.

If there was a sponsor on the new shirt then the Joma logo wouldnt be as visible, my point is that your eyes are immediately drawn to the Joma logo just as they are to Mr Tile Man and therefore it is being marketed in the same way as a shirt sponsor.

Moaning about the word Joma being big.

Theyve paid money for it to be there.

Idiot.

Your stinging reply technically agrees with my original point

Of course theyve paid for it to be there, I bet you they offered far more money than any other manufacturer to put it there and at that size, that is my point.

idiot :giggle:

No it isn't.

Also, after looking at my current shirt and the picture below, i'm sure that the manufacturers logo to club badge (not including the pathetic shield on the current shirt) ratio is larger on the current shirt than the new one.
