I know someone asked earlier, but didn't get a reply... Is it possible to get season ticket discount on the online shop? Because i'm failing to see a way of doing so at the moment :dunno:

Got answers on this now. It is NOT possible to use your season ticket holder discount on online orders for merchandise.

Apparently the voucher with the season ticket pack says that it can only be used in the shop, although the other publicity isn't so clear.

I emailed the club shop about this having received an email encouraging me to pre-order a shirt this morning which went on about the discount, even though I'd already bought shirts at full price online for me and the boy. Yana has agreed to cancel my online order and I'm going to do a fresh order in the club shop when I go in this afternoon to pick up Crewe tickets. I'd suggest any STH who has paid full price online does the same.

Well that's stupid.

For the £11 i'd save by going to the club shop, i'd have to pay in petrol to go and do it lol

Do you think , to offset the fact they don't have a sponsor that they struck a deal with Joma to get the kit more cheaply in return for them having a bigger 'Joma' sign on it?

because lets face it, its almost a big enough sign to be a sponsor in its own right...

And if that's true, the club have gone back on their promise to not have a sponsor on the shirt...

or maybe i am just over analysing lol

Rumours are they have changed the kit due to complaints.

It was to do with the Joma logo.

here

:crylaugh:

Very disapointed with this.... there is a huge amount of empty space below the badge that Joma couldve fitted in their phone number and web address... sort it out Milan!

It's not really that big! Surely MTWG and I can't be the only ones that think that?! It's the same size it is on all the other shirts they make!

A new home kit took to the field at Walkers Stadium, featuring a commemorative club badge. The badge, which celebrates 125 years for English Leicester City, was unveiled to supporters appearing at the packed venue.

The latest set of kits, which do not feature a sponsor, will use the regular club badge next season, as reported on the club website. Leicester will also remain without a sponsor for the first time in more than 25 years. However, manufacturer Joma will receive recognition by appearing on the kits.

According to a Leicester spokesperson, both the club and its supporters are excited at the about the new kits, calling the latest design “the perfect mix”, including a traditional, sponsor-free shirt with a modern edge.

The spokesperson further noted that the club felt it appropriate to reveal the kits to fans present at the last match and final game of the season. Supporters attending the match were further given an opportunity to submit pre-orders, making them the first set of fans to don the kit.

The design of the commemorative kits, which are scheduled for a July release, were influenced by votes from supporters. Of 20,000 responses, approximately 65 percent of fans voted to keep the shirt free of logos.

Leicester City Supporters Club Chairman Cliff Ginetta indicated that the newest design is a good match to the club’s 125 years of action.

As all kits feature the manufacturers name, are they suggesting it's something more than that - perhaps a larger motif whistle.gif

Mind you they seem to have got it wrong in the first sentence! :P
