Corky Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 You're actually a referee? Thought you just had some kind of fetish. Aren't you the lad that said you wanted to become a copper as well? What's wrong with you mate? 3 inches? 4? Yeah, he's a ref. Decent from what I've seen.

Head Honcho Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 For about the last 10 years, we've only ever played our final friendly at home.
Matt Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 We're going back to Slovenia. The Foxes are going back again to Slovenia where they laid the foundations of last season's superb promotion back to the Coca-Cola Championship.Following Saturday's double-header friendly's at Loughborough Dynamo in the morning, and at Tamworth in the afternoon, Foxes boss Nigel Pearson will take his squad back to the training base which worked out so well for them last time. Then they go into full swing with their other warm-up matches, at Mansfield on Tuesday July 21, at Shrewsbury on Saturday July 25, followed by a trip to Chesterfield on Tuesday July 28 before the home glamour friendly against Spanish La Liga side Real Valladolid on Sunday, August 2. Before that final run-out, a lot of hard work will have been done on the training ground and defender Michael Morrison said "It is an important time, getting to know the new players and the style we will be playing and it can make or break the campaign. "It is going to be a hard week, training every day then a game on Saturday followed by Slovenia. "If you have a good build-up it can set you up for the rest of the year." With the first team abroad, a City X1 have two outings themselves, at Hinckley on Wednesday July 15, kick-off 7.30and then at King's Lynn on Saturday July 18, kick-off 3.00pm.
bettsy882 Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Im led to believe that the game against Loughborough Dynamo and Tamworth will both contain a mixture of first team players and reserve and youth team players. It will be the first oppourtunity to see Leicester in their new kit and the arrival of new faces at Nanpantan Sports Ground, which is a 12ko. I hope alot of supporters come down to support Leicester and support Loughborough as they play football in the right way at this level as I have watched many times. The pitch at the NSG is ammaculate for this level and is always in good shape.

General Smuts Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Why did nobody tell me about this King's Lynn game before? My mate's missus is from there and this is guarenteed to be a piss up! Confirmed as attending this game now. However one person who won't be there is Julian Joachim I'll have to make do with Joe Magunda: Budget cuts following King's Lynns's demotion to the Unibond Premier Division in May 2009, resulted in Julian not being offered fresh terms for the 2009-2010 season. Local reports in June 2009 linked him with a return Boston United. According to reports in the Non League Paper in July 2009, Julian, now living in Leicester, has no intention of retiring and hopes to resume his career.
