David Guiza Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 Recalled to England squad.Good god. He barely plays for Man Utd when the rest our fit <_< .
JoeyB Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 Are they Chuffing desperate or what? Fabio Capello has named Gary Neville and Paul Robinson in his squad for England's upcoming World Cup qualifiers. The Three Lions will be looking to maintain their 100 per cent record in Group Six when they face Kazakhstan on 6th June and Andorra four days later. Capello will be without injured players such as Stewart Downing and goalkeeping duo David James and Ben Foster. He has chosen Robinson, Robert Green and Scott Carson as his three keepers, while experienced defender Neville is included for the first time since Capello replaced Steve McClaren 18 months ago. Shaun Wright-Phillips has made the cut despite carrying an injury, while fellow wingers Theo Walcott and Ashley Young are also back in the fold. West Ham's Carlton Cole and Jermain Defoe of Tottenham will vie for striking roles with Peter Crouch, Emile Heskey and Wayne Rooney. Squad : Carson (West Brom); Green (West Ham); Robinson (Blackburn); Bridge (Man City), A Cole (Chelsea), Ferdinand (Man Utd), Johnson (Portsmouth), Lescott (Everton), Neville (Man Utd), Terry (Chelsea), Upson (West Ham); Barry (Aston Villa), Beckham (LA Galaxy), Carrick (Man Utd), Gerrard (Liverpool), Lampard (Chelsea), Walcott (Arsenal), Wright-Phillips (Man City), Young (Aston Villa); C Cole (West Ham), Crouch (Portsmouth), Defoe (Tottenham), Heskey (Man Utd), Rooney (Man Utd). What would your starting 11 be from that?
dandannieldanok Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 Deary me, desperate times call for desperate measures.

J.Lisemore Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 Where the f*** is Aaron Lennon Lennon for SWP. Get it done.
Hitesh Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 There's an error on that squad list JoeyB, Heskey plays for Villa, not Utd! But on topic, its a terrible decision. The guy hasn't played much this season and when he has played it hasn't been that great! It's because he plays for United...
Koke Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 Glen Johnson got that RB spot on lock down. Neville won't get a look in.

BlueSi13 Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 Stunning, i just think they were meant to call up Phil Neville but some receptionist got a little confused and the FA are too embarrassed to admit the mistake!!!.....it can happen On another topic when United were being crowned champions last week, i saw greedy Gary licking his lips and running to get a medal round his neck, shouldn't he have been told to piss off and go bore Welbeck and Macheda at the back? he hasn't played 10 league games has he?
Bert Posted 24 May 2009 Posted 24 May 2009 Fabio Capello, you fucking twat. What on earth are you doing calling up the most experienced right back England have, as cover for your first choice right back for the forthcoming European Championship Qualifiers against Andorra and Kazhakstan.
Sparky Posted 25 May 2009 Posted 25 May 2009 100 percent record in the group , only Spain have same record . Im pretty sure Capello is fairly capeable of making decent decisions . Neville will provide good experienced cover for Glen Johnson nothing more. Id also imagine Robert Green will be starting these 2 qualifiers
Kilworthfox Posted 25 May 2009 Posted 25 May 2009 We are playing Andorra & the Kazakhstan We will win both games & I think Capello knows more about football than anyone on this forum.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 25 May 2009 Posted 25 May 2009 I fully believe that Rob Green will now takeover the number 1 spot for England after these next two games.
AyewJoking Posted 25 May 2009 Posted 25 May 2009 Fabio Capello, you fooking twat. What on earth are you doing calling up the most experienced right back England have, as cover for your first choice right back for the forthcoming European Championship Qualifiers against Andorra and Kazhakstan.
