Shrenchel Posted 19 November 2009 Posted 19 November 2009 I heard it was because of an intellectual property claim by alan birchenall.
MPH Posted 19 November 2009 Posted 19 November 2009 the match against plymouth which co-incides with the 125 year anniversary celebrations would actually be a perfect time to play it..
Rich Fox Posted 20 November 2009 Posted 20 November 2009 I heard it was because of an intellectual property claim by alan birchenall. Explain
Houdini Logic Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Why is it no longer played before games? If anyone from the Merc is reading can you mention this to the club the next time you call them. Cheers
davidhenson44 Posted 17 August 2011 Author Posted 17 August 2011 Just an update, as promised so long ago, about the money raised from the song which is still available on iTunes, Amazon mp3 store and also via the LOROS website. So far about 900 copies have been sold so, after iTunes and Amazon have taken their cut, about £600 has been raised for LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland hospice. All proceeds received from the track will continue to provide treatment and valuable support to patients and their families using the service. Thanks on behalf of myself and the charity to each and every City fan who has bought it and here’s to getting our season right back on track at the King Power tonight! Dave

Dave I've lost my copy of the song, when I moved computers, but I still have £11 in my iTunes account so I'll be buying the song, which I like and which should still be played at the King Power Stadium.

Dave Good work Dave and I bought 2 copies (Stadium and Studio) and have it playing at the end of Leicester games on FIFA, so I hear it a lot! Top song and top charity too. They were great to our family when my Gramps was in there for his final days. RIP Gramps...
stripeyfox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Found this while browsing YouTube - a parody of the Foxes version, but quite faithful to it with a few players in common http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PykEBdf0T5Y
tylesta Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Bloody hell spurs love copying songs. Glory glory tottenham hotspur and now heros in white and blue
lcfcbaby Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 They could at least try and make theirs a little different. It's basically the same but with their players!
woddyuk Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 He should update it with an extra verse of more recent players... Should the obvious happen and promotion achieved.
deanolegend1989 Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Leicester City for the win, David Nugent cheeky grin, Kevin Phillips super sub, Drinky cupping ear, Knocky with a silky flick, Matty James he makes us tick, Mayrez flair, Konch's hair, Kasper Schmicheal. Chrissy Wood off his head, Was put Kermogant to bed, Jamie Vardy we all know he'll win another pen, Lloyd Dyer's lightning pace, The look on every fullbacks face, Hes out of shape, but we still rate - Gary Taylor Fletcher. Heroes in Blue and White, We win 9 on the spin and it gives us a grin, Is this gonna be our era, If there is a lady I can nearly hear her.

Kitchandro Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Nigel fighting off the dogs, Tony K best of the frogs, Drinky, James - vital cogs in the Promotion dream. Nugent scoring penalties, Vardy winning penalties, How many fvcking penalties?! We're a favoured team. Reading, Bolton, they were beat, But Conrad's still sat on his seat, Millwall, Derby - drink and meat Birmingham were shite. QPR and Leeds 1-0, Made the Boro feel ill, Philips time, over the line. Bournemouth makes 9! Heroes in blue and white, It's 9 in a row, Could be a fatal blow, Is it time to say goodnight to the Championship? Hope we don't have a blip.
Merging Cultures Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Heroes? Did they selflessly save someone else from the clutches of death? Perhaps loyal servants or other hyperbolic terms we can use for highly paid grown men playing sport?
woddyuk Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Decent effort! Great effort but missing Liam and. Marcin
ACF Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Great effort but missing Liam and. Marcin Second verse second line...
