I'm inclined to agree, there are some massively funny women out there but them doing stand up doesn't appeal to me. They generally go on a man bashing tip which is intensely irritating and unnecessary just for laughs.

Ruby Wax was awful on Apprentice last night, some of the stuff she said just wasn't funny and it sounded like forced awkward laughter from the crowd who didn't really think it was funny.
