The Sky commentators would have you believe we have a 1 man batting line-up. We basically are though bar Collingwood but he is to inconsistent.

Exactly so I can't understand why you'd spend so much time slatting the one player that's actually doing a respectful job. For some reason they spend 3 hours analysing what Pieterson does wrong with one ball in the innings and 30 minutes brushing aside the fact that 9 other wickets have fallen, the first 4 very often doing sod all. I'm yet to hear "what the hell are Strauss, Cook and Bopara doing"? The ironic thing is they said earlier that Pieterson needs to have a clear mind, well maybe if people like them stop telling him how to play, stop analysing so criticially every little slip he makes, stop trying to change him into a player he's not, and let him bat the way he plays best, he'll get you your runs. We're shooting ourselves in the foot. Good patient batting by Flintoff and Collingwood here, up to now...

I totally agree. It seems the best players will always carry the most weight. I still think Pieterson is the only player with true flair which seems to be met with negative comments by some.
