Having being going out in Leicester for 4 years I don't really appreciate the clubs anymore, both life and liquid are ok. I avoid mosh at all costs. manilla is supposed to be ok but is pricey. Fan club is a laugh, mainly because it's the only place you can buy a can in a bar! Zanzibar is full of black blokes that look like they will stab you, avoid it. I don't think I will ever go in there again Swop Walkabout for Revolution and my list is pretty similar to yours. Usually end up in Fan Club most nights , very little trouble in there and its my kind of music , Friday 80s room and Saturday modern and classic indie i think its official title is . Certainly dont have to listen tho Wiley or Dizzy fooking rascal in there

The one time I've even nearly got into a fight it's been in Mosh, everywhere has it's share of knobends. As long as people are out to have a good time and not cause trouble I don't give a shit if they're chavs or not.
Matt Posted 26 June 2009 Posted 26 June 2009 I've only been out in Leicester a few times but think it's more effort than its worth tbh, It's nice but although it's a City personally it's not that much better than Nuneaton or Hinckley (Where I usually go out), Leicester seems bigger, but from what I can see the only reason it seems bigger is because the bars/pubs/clubs are more spread out in Nuneaton/Hinckley they all tend to be within little distance of each other thus feeling smaller. Going out in Leicester is ok, a nice to go every now and again but more effort than its worth getting there/getting back for me. I suppose it is worth going Leicester just to be able to get Fruli though! (Can't get in anywhere around here)
