The stadium move wasn't in 1992, it was 2002 and it's moved by a relatively tiny amount, the areas affected by parking would be the same, not to mention welford road has been there for 120 years as well.

1/10 - troll harder next time.

HE moved to the area in 1992, read it again slowly!

Hi,

I have been on the forum periphery for a while, thought it was about time I joined in.

Don't understand the rules, so be gentle with me.

Hey all,

Long time foxes fan, slightly embarrassed that I've only just found this forum. Hoping for a turn around in this Southampton match!

I had a question about the dress code for the Banks Lounge as I've been invited along to the Crystal Palace match next week. Can someone either advise, or point me to the correct forum thread?

Cheers,

Matt

Hey all, found the site via Alphabet(Google) lol. Been a Foxes fan all my life born and bred in Leicester was moved to the States when I was 13. Went to Filbert street when I was a kid and have some fond memories. Besides The Foxes, teams I support are  Seattle Sounders England, USA (mens and womens). Right anything else ya wanna know just ask.

Hi I've been a city fan for about 30 years a season ticket holder in my teens but stopped when playing myself got in the way. I've recently become a season ticket holder again in the last 4 years & this team has got me as proud as the Mon days. I've been a long time voyeur of this forum & it always makes me smile coyb

Hi All
Supported the Foxes since 1979 when I went to university in Leicester but was always very fond of the club since watching the 1969 FA Cup final on the box and seeing Weller (white tights and all), Worthington and co on MOTD in the 70s. A south Wales valleys boy, hence the name, living in Cardiff.

Hi all, no sense in lying, I'm a new supporter of the Foxes. After 10 years as an exiled Reading fan, I can't go without watching matches on Saturday anymore. I've slowly followed City more and more -- the squad is exciting and your community is top-notch. I suppose that in life and in sport, sometimes your first love goes away and you fall for someone new. Hope I'm still welcome!

Trivia -- I share a birthday with Karl Pilkington, and thus Bruce Springsteen as well.

Going from Reading to Leicester City would be like breaking up with your dour, bookish, stay-at-home girlfriend and moving in with a porn star.

Hi All,

New member and convert to the Foxes' cause here. I'm Australian, now living here permanently thanks to Scottish and Irish grandparents.

While I am a (long-suffering) Buddies fan north of the border, I stumbled upon Leicester somewhat by accident. As I had no particular English loyalties, and stubbornly deciding to go against the advice of those I first met in London, who, on discovering I lived (at the time, no longer) in NW1 that I should adopt Arsenal or Tottenham by virtue of proximity, I decided instead to sign up to one of the teams that had just been promoted to the top flight at the end of the 2013/14 season.

That left me to choose between Leicester, QPR, and Burnley, and if I'm being honest, the sole reason I picked as I have is that Leicester had the best logo/crest!

That said, having just watched Vardy take the record in a pub full of united fans yesterday, and having made it out alive and £400 richer thanks to Ladbrokes, I think you've made a lifelong fan out of me.

I'm Heading to Swansea next weekend for a look around and to see the game, so I'll go for a look now at any travel group posts.

As an aside, I've done my due diligence, but have yet to find any sort of active groups of London-based Foxes fans. Do any such exist, and if so, can anyone point me in the right direction? Much obliged if so!
