StanSP Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 hand on heart i've never disliked a kit more. it looks so shit, what a shame! like someone else has said, why repeat a (poor) away kit design from very recently?i was so up for buying at least one of our kits this year but for the 3rd/4th year running i wont bother. both complete crap imo. I didn't think it was poor this time and don't think it's poor now
lavrentis Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 I didn't think it was poor this time and don't think it's poor now I like chocolate.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Am I the only one who doesn't think that it is terrible? I'm not saying its great but I have seen much worse. Rather that than Newcastle's deck chair kit.

Fosse Boy Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Am I the only one who doesn't think that it is terrible?I'm not saying its great but I have seen much worse. Rather that than Newcastle's deck chair kit. Read back through the thread. It's mostly positive reaction I think.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 The shirt is horrid. Looks like a miss world sash. Luvvin the new home kit, but sashes...NO White LOROS on a sky blue sash? Yeah, you'll be able to read that from 100 yards away.It just seems a real shame, that the LOROS branding didn't go on the plain blue shirt, leaving the sash to be the 'historic' plain shirt for the anniversary. That would have made a little more sense, and also looked better. Ah well. i'm not keen , looks too busy for me , but i'm only a small fish in a big ocean . hand on heart i've never disliked a kit more. it looks so shit, what a shame! like someone else has said, why repeat a (poor) away kit design from very recently?i was so up for buying at least one of our kits this year but for the 3rd/4th year running i wont bother. both complete crap imo. Yes, I have read through the posts but on the last page alone there were a lot of people who dislike it.
StanSP Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Yes, I have read through the posts but on the last page alone there were a lot of people who dislike it. But on more previous pages, there was much more positive feedback

Foxes_Trust Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 I'll save you the work.Store Locations How to help and support Loros Good that you are creating direct access to the information, so posters are clear where their nearest Loros shop is. Foxiles will be able to buy the shirt without a shop visit, we will explain how once the details are confirmed from Loros

Well Loros don't appear to be doing this so far, as I'm sure Craig would have posted the direct link While several on here seem to want to use this topic as an excuse to lay into the FT again, we would like to point out that we have agreed directly with Loros to promote the fact they are benefiting from the shirt sales in their shops, as Loros were concerned that many City fans would not be aware of it and therefore we agreed we would make posts on the main message boards about it and do a series of website articles too.

But it's already been posted in this thread that Loros benefits if you buy from the shop.
Jimmy Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 doesn't LOROS benefit from every away shirt sold regardless of where you buy it from?

Foxes_Trust Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 doesn't LOROS benefit from every away shirt sold regardless of where you buy it from? You could argue for the PR value, but no financially Loros gain nothing if you buy the shirt from anywhere other than a Loros shop. Lisa - this is precisely the reason that this fact needs to be repeated on a regular basis, so every fan understands the buying decision they are making a) If you want Loros to directly financially benefit from purchasing the shirt, go to a Loros shop b) If you aren't bothered about Loros benefiting, then buy it anywhere From the fans we have spoken to, the vast majority are in the a) catagory, indeed we know of a number of fans who would not buy the shirt unless Loros were benefiting, so we are not only helping Loros but also increasing shirt sales too. We are awaiting details from Loros about how Foxiles can buy the shirt from them without visiting their shops
