flanimal Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 So you're saying he'd score more in England because ligue 2 is more defence orientated? Makes sense. Thanks for clarifying, dude.
Brainy Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 5 goals in 62 appearences for Fryatt, even more worrying. You actually want him to fail don't you.
MikeyT Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Someone just said on the Phone in that he's injured?
dandannieldanok Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 French Ligue 2 is crap no matter how you dress it up.
fatboy Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Someone just said on the Phone in that he's injured? The text message was sent in by a man called Bert
flanimal Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 No 'the' Bert? Damn, he must be injured if that's the case...
Maybes Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 French Ligue 2 is crap no matter how you dress it up. I agree.
bignu Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 I agree. It's funny because we say exactly the same for championship or league one
tontondan Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Bignu Hello, Hello forumeurs. I'm glad to meet a fellow supporter of Reims and "Kermo. I saw this info on the Web http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A55239014 Do you have more information?

Edmund Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 The lad scores some spectacular goals, as featured on YouTube
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 I knew it! We have been left way behind in the quest for a quality striker. As I said peviously, I wont object to his signing, but we need a proven goal scorer. Now we have failed to sign Lita! Whats left now. Just the odd scraps to fight over. Are we an ambitious club?

Yes but MM doesn't have a heavy load of cash to gamble on expensive players that may not work out. We're no Man City. Any striker however shit will do me just so we can throw him on when Fryatt and Howard have a drought. Dj publicly apologising and pledging his future to LCFC would be nice. Go on Dj
Budweiser Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 What's wrong with that question? I'm not calling him a bullshitter, I'm just surprised it's twice as difficult. I think you mis-understood (probably me though). Don't we currently play more games in the Championship? So if they play less, it proves his point. Plus, it's more defensive in France. (Im not trying to have a go at you )

tontondan Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 I prefer to play in a league 1 club in France. There is the whole place. I am not inventing anything, is what we have said consultants in various radio and television. For example: Roland Courbis (former coach of Marseille) and Jean-Marc Ferreri (former internationnal french). So do not worry, you will not be disappointed if he signs with you. Before the end of the year you will all reach the "Kermomania".
CosbehFox Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Does anyone think he could be on a similar understanding as Berner last season. Arrives with a slight injury, he uses City's facilities with a contract at the end of it?

Are we an ambitious club? i dont wish to be rude about this.... and i have thought how to phrase this.... we are ambitious. lots of other clubs are ambitious. there are clubs with more money than us that are ambitious. Middlesorough have a budget 5 times ours ( at least!) i dont get why people think leicester have a God given right to sign who we want to sign.... please be more realistic!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 'left behind' indeed. You'd think that the Leicester City staff have been going swimming down the pits and playing Xbox all summer. They're not some teenagers pretending their exams aren't tomorrow

They're not some teenagers pretending their exams aren't tomorrow Don't worry mate the only manager that would make MONOTONOUS TIGER happy is Peter Taylor..... "you see if we'de have bought Cox for 2.5 million or Doyle for 6.5......... everything would be fine, no need for maths, business sense or realism lets just get ripped off and get a name he knows, everything will be fine then, long term, short term, it will all be fine as long as he recognises the team sheet and doesn't have to take an interest in the clubs finances.
The Padster Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Dj publicly apologising and pledging his future to LCFC would be nice. Go on Dj Although still think we should sign kermo if he's on a free, can't hurt to have an extra backup especially if the ref's are gonna be dishing out the yellows on Super Steve again this year.
espanaguy Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Hi all I've read most of the last aswers about this topic, and what my french buddies mean (well i guess they are french coz of 'eir english...) is that championship isn't easier than french's 2nd league, but that compared to your championship, and due to french bloody legendary cult of defence, it's harder to strike in our league than in yours... Which don't makes yours easier ! Take an example... This jerk-off of Adebayor was a complete incompetent in 1st league here, then he left for UK, and became one of the best scores in your league... Henry, was considered as a god damned great striker when he used to play for Arsenal, but always sucked at playin' within' the french national team coz of the coach's tactical... You see what i mean ? What we say is that you may think Kermorgant sucks, but you gotta take into consideration the diff'rence of league... Offensivly & defensively... The way of playin' footbal is so diff'rent in our own leagues... To be honest, even if i side with a french team, and that i don't really follow the premier league, it'd be lyin' that sayin' your way of playin' football isn't a better spectacle than our... I'm not lickin' asses, just admittin'... Otherwise, our club is also on the "Kermorgant file", so...........can you tell us where the Leicester FC is about it for now...? Thanks mates !
One Half Wonder Posted 5 August 2009 Posted 5 August 2009 Who? And for less than 1.5 million? No chance. It's as I said last week, it's Beckford or go abroad. A risk needs to be taken, albeit a calculated one. and you really think Leeds will let Beckford go for £1.5m? They rejected £6m for Delph!!
theoxonfox Posted 5 August 2009 Posted 5 August 2009 Theres more to kermorgants game than just his scoring record!i think we should sign marek saganowski,i know hes injury prone but could be cheap and only 31.As for waghorn,i beleive he will be played out wide.
