I reckon he could do a job for us to be honest, looks a big lad and won't break the bank. We have to take risks like this once or twice a season, they're bound to pay off sooner or later.

Bignu, if Kermorgant is such a good player, why hav none of the top division French clubs not bought him? Is he coming to England for a change? The money?

Canto is unique, but yes he have the same profil, obviously less good. But nothing guarantee that he will succeed (I think he can)... we looks in the future...

He is end of contract, all of the club of Ligue 2 (Championship) will him, but he consider "he made the round" of his division, and will play in top division. He had contact with Lorient, Lens, Montpellier, but he have not signed, i don't know why, and in France this summer the transfert market is quiet (except Marseille Lyon). I think he try in england for a new challenge.

Nothing confirmed yet, Bignu. A lot people seem to think he'll sign soon. Even if he's a poor man's Cantona that's still damn good!

But Bignu, if Reims got relegated, I'm presuming they were a pretty poor side that year. Was it a case of Kermorgant being by far the best player?

I'm hoping so. TBH I am geting quite pissed off with how long it takes us to make a trasnfer this summer. It took donkeys years for N'Guessan to sign, we are pissing around with Lita and this Kermo has been linked for weeks now, with everyday he is supposed to be signing. <_<

N'Guessan didn't take that long, it's just we were talking to him before his contract expired, a few days after his contract was finished he signed with us.

Saidhodza, the Bulgarian striker rumour began on Football Rumours, so more importantly it had no credability. I'm amazed that story even entered the Mercury... wait, it is the Mercury so no, I'm not surprised!

I'd say it's unlikely Kermo would be playing against Real, when has the club done something like that recently? Hope I'm wrong though.

It's complicated.

In the whole season it's the best player with another Thomas Gamiette.

In inter season, we have lost our best player, we have money but we have not replace this player by confirmed player (a lot of youth loan player), with a young coach, it was an error... 1st January we have only 12 point... Director wake up and recruit some player like Fauré (return of Le Havre), Thiam (Caen), Kamissoko (Grenoble), Sankharé (u23 french football team he have scored against England in March, loan of PSG), and a famous Coach Luis Fernandez. But the delay is too large and we are relegated.

Thus in second part of the season he isn't far the best player but one of the best, on the whole season the best yes. And he was not very good in the start of the season with an little overweight ^_^
