Sparky Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Hughes surely deserves a better club than that , Iain Dowie to replace i reckon.
Guppy Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 I think Jewell will replace him. Megson to Wednesday?

Bert Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Peter Reid for Bolton. Could be a good shout. He's on the staff at Stoke I think.

Gaffer Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5812243,00.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ers/8434719.stm Bolton Wanderers have confirmed Gary Megson has been sacked as manager with the club in the Premier League relegation zone.Speculation about Megson's future at the Reebok Stadium had intensified following the 2-2 draw at home to Hull City on Tuesday night. The Trotters threw away a two-goal lead against their relegation rivals and fans called for Megson to be dismissed at the final whistle. Megson has been unable to win over the Bolton faithful since being appointed manager in October 2007, just a few weeks after he had taken charge of Leicester City. During his first season, he steered the club to survival and last term Bolton finished the campaign in 13th place. However, the team have struggled for consistency this season and the stalemate with Hull left Bolton inside the bottom three due to their inferior goal difference. With the transfer window about to open, Bolton have decided to act now and have placed Chris Evans and Steve Wigley in caretaker charge ahead of Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie against Lincoln City. Hard work A club statement read: "Gary Megson has been relieved of his duties as first-team manager of Bolton Wanderers Football Club with immediate effect. "The decision has been taken in the light of the position the club finds itself in the Barclays Premier League at the halfway point of the season. "Assistant manager Chris Evans and first-team Coach Steve Wigley will take charge of first-team matters for the interim period. "The club wishes to place on record its thanks to Gary Megson for his hard work and commitment to Bolton Wanderers during his tenure as manager." Megson's style of football and tactics have regularly been criticised by the supporters, who were unhappy with his decision to substitute goalscorer Ivan Klasnic against Hull. And, speaking after what proved to be his final match at the helm, Megson acknowledged his concern that he would never be able to win over the Bolton fans.
Suffolk_fox Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Fulham have given Roy Hodgson a NEW 12 months rolling contract. Oh? When does that expire.....?
dandannieldanok Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Jason McAteer thinks Peter Reid would be a good choice for Bolton..............it's not hard to see why he and John Barnes failed so miserably at Tranmere.
Monk Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Fulham have given Roy Hodgson a NEW 12 months rolling contract. What's a rolling contract?
Fosse Boy Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Megson Dedicated to him... (Apologies to any of FT's red-headed contingent but I thought this was the best excuse I'd ever have to post this particular vid)
Bert Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 What's a rolling contract? Basically a year to year contract I think.
Uncle Albert Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Liverpool: Gerrard, Torres and Johnson.Villa: Dunne, Young, Milner, Downing, Heskey and Agbonlahor. Man City: Given, Richards, Robinho, Tevez, Adebayor, De Jong, Bellamy, Santa Cruz. Tottenham: Woodgate, Defoe, Crouch, Keane, Lennon, Jenas and Huddlestone. Oh my dear lord! You have class Huddlestone, Jenas, Santa Cruz, Richards, Downing and Heskey as good players but you haven't included Mascherano, Kuyt, Aquilani, Carragher, Agger, Skrtel or Reina? You have now shown what a fucking clueless Serbian cock you are.
StanSP Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Oh my dear lord! Uncle Albert Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Aquilani - seen so much of him this season ain't we?Carragher - been way off normal form this season. Not as good as he used to be. But if you had seen him Serie A then you would know he is a quality player and Carragher last night was awesome, did you not see him against United this season either? Show's real quality. Keane, Jenas and Heskey all made it on them lists, they have hardly played let alone had a good year or not. Roque Santa Cruz
Craig Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 But if you had seen him Serie A then you would know he is a quality player and Carragher last night was awesome, did you not see him against United this season either? Show's real quality. Keane, Jenas and Heskey all made it on them lists, they have hardly played let alone had a good year or not. Roque Santa Cruz Jenas - 17 Appearances Keane - 19 Appearances Sorry, who's the "clueless serbian plastic scouse cock"?
Father Ted Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Oh my dear lord! Yeah, Mascherano who is suspended more than he plays? Kuyt only works hard but has no skill. Aquilani is unproven. Carragher is getting old and is on poor poor form. Agger, too often injured. Skrtel, a joke for a defender, makes Wayne Brown look like a world beater. 3rd/4th choice at best for Liverpool. Reina - possibly the only one I'll give you but then you could argue that Friedel, Gomes and Given are just as good if not better. So what a cock you are.
