Corky Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Brian Laws Premier League manager. What a joke. Not good enough for us nevermind the top flight. Two years of contract left after this season. The Burnley fans must be furious. It was a strange appointment. 1 win in his last 23 matches as manager.
FoxyPV Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 Amazing - working on Soccer Saturday would be one of the best jobs in the world
Joe. Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 If anybody gets a stream of Everton West Ham it'd be much appreciated! EDIT: http://livetv.ru/webplayer.php?t=ustream&c=31092〈=en&eid=42477&lid=31092
Joe. Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 Well I think West Ham are paying Mido £1k a week too much... So far he's missed a penalty and got himself booked, wonderful contribution. Everton pretty much in control playing some nice stuff (without Arteta too), I really do like them. It's difficult not to admire the job Moyes has done there...
shen Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 What is Rafa on? I've been one of those that thought the criticism of him has been over-zealous for some time, but why would you remove your most potent threat after an hour to put on one of the most useless strikers in their clubs' history? Surely the man has got his priorities all wrong if he was saving him for the Europa League...
FoxyPV Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 I think Rafa is trying to make Liverpool sack him so he can get £20m in compensation and the Real Madrid job
StanSP Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 Rafa now winless against Birmingham in 8 games. Saving grace for Liverpool? They aren't the only 'big' team to come away from St Andrews with less than 3 points. Birmingham also held Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham at home.

Indeed, credit to Brum for that record. However, you'd have thought that after all these winless encounters between them, and the fact that Brum had previously stifled all those teams this season, that he knew exactly what to expect from them. That his team has failed to beat them yet again only reflects badly on his and the players' abilities. On another note, that was an excellent battling performance by West Ham. Will they rue Mido's miss however? And I wonder how they will cope without Parker for the next couple of games. He was the heartbeat in that team today.
Joe. Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 Gerrard's face when Torres was brought off says it all. Feel sorry for him personally, Rafa's got to go. Completely lost the plot...
Edmund Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 Did anyone see the 2 good 2 bad with Rooney trying to sneak a glass of beer?
shen Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Did anyone see the 2 good 2 bad with Rooney trying to sneak a glass of beer? That was brilliant! Clip here
Tilley Posted 9 April 2010 Posted 9 April 2010 Only Manchester United play in the league this weekend because Chelsea have Villa in FA Cup semi final and Tottenham play Pompey so North London Derby is now next Wednesday. Sol, Song and RVP back for Spurs. Can't wait to see Robin back on the field.
Salieri Posted 10 April 2010 Posted 10 April 2010 Hull 1-4 Burnley. Ian Dowie, what an inspired appointment!
lildave3 Posted 10 April 2010 Posted 10 April 2010 Absolutely horrific result for Hull. Losing at home to Burnley should mean automatic relegation. Surprised West Ham won aswell, big win for them.
Corky Posted 10 April 2010 Posted 10 April 2010 Dreadful result for Hull, as LD3 says if you lose to Burnley at home then you are doomed.
BoneDog Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Loved Burnleys win today but then West Ham went and ruined it. Looks like the bottom 3 will stay as it is. Wounded cos I want Burnley to stay up. Bit gutted for Hull but the only reason for that is cos I love Jimmy Bullard!
Benji Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 I know this was the FA Cup but didn't seem to warrant a new thread and two premiership teams. Unfair that Terry can now play in the Premiership following just a yellow? In light of the abuse Shawcross took.
Joe. Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 That's a horrendous challenge! Fuck me that could have been so much worse...
