Corky Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Bloody hell, hadn't seen that. No wonder O'Neill was furious.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Blimey how on earth did that not break Milner's leg, horrific challenge.
Jimothy Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Amdy Townsend was pretty much trying to defend it in commentary aswell. Saying that when the ball is bouncing high, you will go in with studs showing so it's not all that bad. Idiot.

Saying that when the ball is bouncing high, you will go in with studs showing so it's not all that bad. Idiot. The fact that Milner's running away from the goal as well, not exactly a vital last ditch lunge by him is it. I hate that the game seems to becoming a lot less physical, the barca/arsenal game started to annoy me with players dropping to the floor at the slightest stroke. Have to draw the line somewhere though don't you? Luckily Milner hadn't planted the whole foot I guess.
StanSP Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 "Rory Delap took 27 throws vs Wolves, but attempted just 26 passes in open play."
Joe. Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Chelsea's title it is then... BOOOOOOO. Meanwhile, what an awful day of football in the Premier League, glad I chose not to watch United.
Fox You Forest Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 One of the dullest games I've seen in a while.
StanSP Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 One of the dullest games I've seen in a while. Which one you on about? Both finished games today have been pretty dull apparently.
lcfcsnow Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Thats the premiershit for you, the league needs overhauling starting with wage cap, and the way Sam Allardyce and Tony Pulis set their teams up is more or less sticking two fingers up to fans. I almost hope we don't go up to save us becoming a Stoke, Blackburn, Wolves, Bolton (before Coyle) stuck in mediocrity watching depressing football and to save myself some money from paying more to watch less enjoyable matches. I'd rather be in a relegation battle than finish 12th-15th watching the rubbish those teams produce.
AjcW Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Well I was sitting there watching another boring game of football today and boom, 4 goals in 6 minutes to make it man city 3-1 brum at half time .
Salieri Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 I know this was the FA Cup but didn't seem to warrant a new thread and two premiership teams. Unfair that Terry can now play in the Premiership following just a yellow? In light of the abuse Shawcross took. First time ive seen that challenge, absolutely horrendous. On an England team mate too, nice one Terry, willy puller.
Corky Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Blackburn game was poor, Man City was lively after 35 minutes.
FoxyPV Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Chelsea's title now to lose. Valencia missed an absolute sitter - proving he's no replacement for Ronaldo yet again (according to Yanited fans who praised him beyond belief earlier in the week) Allarshite has a sin to answer for with the most tedious football ever and it growing acceptance. I'd fooking hate to be a blackburn fan and watch that shite week in/ week out. I'll second preference for the relegation battle every year over mid table obscurity. This has been the most open premiership for years and you still feel let down.
Uncle Albert Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 Was a bad tackle by Terry but this is a bit of an over the top reaction because it was John Terry, if it was Milner doing a challenge like that on Terry then most people on here would be laughing and saying he deserves it. I'm glad Webb booked him because the FA probably would of jumped in and issued a ban.

Terry went into that tackle with a raised leg and risked badly injuring Milner in the process. The way he went into the tackle one could suspect there was intent in it too. He should've had a straight red and had a ban, simple as that.
Salieri Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 Spurs fan? I think judging by his sig/avatar, probably not.
Joe. Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 Come on youuu Spurs. I can't deal with any more deluded Arsenal fans at uni anymore. Somebody in a white shirt please put them out of their misery, painfully so with a crushing defeat if possible. For the record I think it will be a draw. Tottenham 1-1 Arsenal Aston Villa 1-0 Everton Wigan 1-0 Portsmouth
Tilley Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 RVP will come off the bench to set up Sol for the winner in the 93rd minute.
