lildave3 Posted 25 April 2010 Posted 25 April 2010 United played yesterday Ben. Baaaahhhhh. Get your tenner ready.
Joe. Posted 25 April 2010 Posted 25 April 2010 So Roy Hodgson's going to get fined for his weaker team today? Is he fuck. Of course he shouldn't be either, but it just makes a mockery of Mick McCarthy's fine for his weakened side against United.
shen Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 Shay Given just stretchered off, with what looks like a dislocated shoulder. Not good. Similar to Sørensen Hope he'll be fit for the World Cup. He's essential to our hopes of progressing to the knockout stages!
leicesterfox86 Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 Another season of what ifs for Arsenal then! Did anyone see their game against Man City - what a shocker! If this guy is to be believed though, they are 'only' four players away from being great...! Hmmm, not convinced!
shen Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 Another season of what ifs for Arsenal then! Did anyone see their game against Man City - what a shocker! If this guy is to be believed though, they are 'only' four players away from being great...! Hmmm, not convinced! They're 'only' eight points off the pace. They've got a good nucleus, so 'four great players' should be enough to close that gap. I'd argue they don't even need that many 'great' players. Don't forget they're missing their star player currently, which makes them look a bit ordinary currently. They miss a good goalie, a strong centre-back to partner Vermaelen or Gallas, a man who guarantees goals and possibly an improved player in the engine room (Diaby has proved to falter too often when it mattered).
lildave3 Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 If Arsenal do sign some new players, they should probably check they're not made of glass before they arrive.
C-man Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Newly promoted West Brom have turned down a bid of about £4m from West Ham for midfielder Graham Dorrans. Fvcking hate David Gold. Continually bleating on about finance in football and yet he's seemingly willing to throw around £100k a week for a striker, and £4m for Dorrans before the season's even finished.

They ought to clean up at their own front door first. Green, Upson and Cole are to be sold in the summer and Behrami has already received a couple of offers from other clubs.

West Brom will do well to hang onto him in my opinion, even if they can keep West Ham away. Always ran the show when I've seen him play, wouldn't be surprised to see a club like Sunderland, Villa or Everton come in for him at all.
MC Prussian Posted 1 May 2010 Author Posted 1 May 2010 Burnley will be tip-toeing about avoiding any trouble as they target an improbable Europa League place next season. To put it simply: England are set to win one of the qualification places on offer to those countries who finish in the top three of Uefa's Fair Play rankings. That place will go to the best-placed team in the Premier League's Fair Play League who haven't already qualified for Europe. At the moment, that's Fulham - but if the Cottagers win the Europa League, next in is Burnley. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/8655822.stm (1223 entry) Can I now say I hope Fulham don't win the Europa League? I mean, Burnley to play European football next season - are you kidding me? One of the worst Premier League sides this season and a small club in Lancs.

FoxyPV Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Stevie G passes the ball to Drogba to let Chelsea go one up. Let the conspiracies begin....
Matt Posted 3 May 2010 Posted 3 May 2010 Blackburn 2 - 1 Arsenal. And Arsene Wenger chuntering to himself again, let the excuses and finger pointing commence.
