Salieri Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Horrible injury by the looks of it. Didn't see the game, was it a malicious tackle or was it an "accident" i.e Martin Taylor on Eduardo? My guess is probably the former. Very promising player, really hope he recovers fully from this.

There were no studs showing or anything. Obviously really feel for Ramsey, but Shawcross as well.

I was typing this from the first look, as I didn't think they were going to show a replay, but they did. It was almost as if he was swinging to kick the ball with his left foot initially? Most people say you should be committed for 50/50's, but in my mind the clever player just backs off and waits for a chance where he's favourite for the ball!

I've only watched it on You tube (watching MOTD a bit behind on Sky+) and thats how it looked to me, mistimed, not malicious. Feel for Ramsey, he'll probably come back, but we've all seen how long it's taken for Eduardo to get back to anywhere near his best, so he might never reach the full potential he's promised. Sad really because he's one of the best British talents in years.
