Owen out for season now. I don't think he will ever get back to his past form again now as this was the season he could change things around. :(

Shame we will never get to see the best of him again.

It is a bit of a shame, I think looked really lively in the final before his injury and his goal was textbook Owen.

Doesn't leave United with many options up front now either.

Darren Bent got a hat-trick last night.

Could he be a rival to Rooney, Drogba and Defoe for the Golden Boot?

How come someone ALWAYS gets sent off at home to Arsenal?

Yesterday it was George Boateng. In the previous game it was Ryan Shawcross.

In both cases, the player's indiscipline has enabled the gooners to sneak last-gasp wins and thus retain interest in a title race they should really be out of.

Are you suggesting refs are sending players off to aid Arsenal and keep the title bid alive?

Probably because Arsenal are some of the best and quickest movers of the ball, and thus provoke lots of poorly timed tackles :dunno:

George Boateng should have been given a straight red for that second tackle, ridiculously high.

He could, and probably should have been sent off for the first incident with Bendtner. God knows why Bendtner was booked, he did nothing.

Yea true forgot about that, raised his hand and made contact which is a red card offence.

I really hope Hull go down and fail under that pr*ck Brown.

Good game between Villa and Wolves.

Currently 2-1 to the away side after Carew gave Villa the lead.

Wolves look pretty good on the break, they play some nice stuff at times. Villa have conceded two bad goals but aren't playing too badly.

Their fans are being the usual moaning ****** though. Having said that they've had to pay £43 for a game against relegation contenders when it's on Sky. Joke.

I thought it was a cracking game. Open and end to end. Fair play to Wolves they look good on the break and basing my opinion on todays performance, they should have no trouble in surviving.

Title race shaping up nicely to be the best in years

Not really took much notice of West Ham games this season but watching West Ham v Wolves (1-0 Wolves) and if West Ham have been making mistakes like that all season it certainly explains why they are where they are in the table.
