I liked Danyl's voice for the first time with that song but he still, like Cheryl said, was flat in many places. Olly really didn't do well with that song and struggled which is surprising but I think he'll still be safe. Stacey, whilst a very good singer, is nothing in comparison to Leona or Alex and she's only sung slow tempo songs so far... and last night wasn't her best. Lloyd did probably his best performance last night but he's still just no where near good enough to still be in the competition, however, he is MUCH better than the twins who were utter shite once again. As has already been said though, I think that they have lost their appeal tonight as they weren't that entertaining so hopefully they'll be in the bottom two with Lloyd... what I'm worried about is that they'll get saved again which, whilst Lloyd isn't that good, would still be a gross injustice as he can actually sing whereas they can only run around on a stage trying to sing and rapping their way through the song and have to be backed up with crazy dancers and pyrotechnics to make them interesting.

I don't watch the show so maybe I shouldn't have an opinion BUT the only winner of this is Cowells bank account as for Cole and Minogue you are so right hardly the best examples of signing talent I mean Cole mimed on the show a few weeks ago sorry I mean "sang over pre recorded vocals" due to her dance routine yet expects contestants to do both!! as for Minogue her singing career was hardly a glittering success more a failed attempt to cash in on her sisters success! I really can't believe people take this show so seriously if people are that desperate to like someone that it takes 3months of a tv show and continuous tv coverage to make them want to buy a record then it's no wonder record companies are struggling

In the paper this week it claimed that some of the contestants too had their mikes turned right down and pre-recorded vocals playing to help them out (ala Cheryl Cole) so if thats the case this programme is indeed a farce! I dont know though but my kids reckoned Jedwards performance last night didnt sound "live"? Maybe others that saw it can confirm?

Right from the first show Cheryl attacked him for being 'cocky' which was just total bullshit, he was just being him and performing, all the great performers were a bit cocky. And every week for some strange reason they've disliked him, despite him having probably the best singing voice. It seems Cheryl's comment from the first show has brainwashed the public into some sort of strange dislike for him, he was amazing last night with careless whisper and she said it was flat, bollocks. I hope he gets through tonight. He was the favourite at the beginning and the judges have attacked him for no reason and ruined him, and brainwashed the public into not voting for him. He's been in one sing off, hopefully not tonight.

Spot on re Cowell too. It pisses me off how people moan about it but still watch it anyway, in my opinion you've got 3 choices. Vote for other people bar the 2 nobheads, but Cowell still wins with his cut of the phone money. Watch it, moan, but do nothing about it. Cowell still wins because viewing figures remain high, sponsers pay the cash and he is quids in. Boycott it and 'go and do something less boring with your life instead'. I have one person from work boycotting it with me, viva la revolution.
