Fox92 Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 Well, put it this way Barnsley sound shocking for yet another season and I think we should be going to put 3 or 4 past them. Apparently Foster played full back yesterday as the real full back was suspended against Preston so we could employ Dyer and put Adams on the right and thats what I've gone for. Weale Neilson -- Hobbs -- Brown -- Berner Adams -- Wellens -- Oakley -- Dyer Fryatt -- N'Guessan I think if Dickov starts on the bench and comes on when Darren Moore is getting on in the game that should be cool as he can pester Darren Moore for 10 minutes or whatever. Also, If Nigel starts N'Guessan he can run at Darren Moore all of the first half and although Moore is better in the air, he has no pace and is getting older now. Wellens and Oakley should again dominate midfield. Hobbs and Brown should eat Odejayi and Hume for breakfast. Once again Berner comes up against a little fast winger but should be rock solid again.

But hopefully Waghorn or Howard will be fit. I rekon Waghorn is more likely to be, being younger.

I watched Swansea and Ipswich and was impressed with the Hobbs/Brown combination, so no rush to bring Tunchev back!

So I would start similar team to yesterday, with the option of playing Gradel instead of N'GEEEESan. So everything the same but Waghorn/Howard with Fryatt. If both are out it has to be Chambers for me.

Would rather Kermorgant got in though. good idea. barnsley are a frankly aweful team, give the lad a game to game contract like Mckinley and Summerbee had several seasons back and see how he copes in the championship.

I'd rather play a proper striker upfront, Kermorgant is worth a shot - however, I'll hold out and wait until he's had a go in the reserve game.
