Katy Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 What if they've nothing else to add though, and just want to show that they agree? It's not allowed Bert, Valerie has spoken!
Bert Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Meh. Until it's officially been banned and can no longer be physically done, I'll continue to do so.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Why do threads always feel like a battlefield, a battlefield, a battlefield? Mandy's chest is like a Battlefield.
General Smuts Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 I like the new coloured font action being thrown around willy nilly nowadays. Adds a certain flair to the precedings.
MC Prussian Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 I like the new coloured font action being thrown around willy nilly nowadays.Adds a certain flair to the precedings. Coloured text is so old-fashioned, it's already going through a revival as we speak.
Lillehamring Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 What if they've nothing else to add though, and just want to show that they agree? well they could justt sit there and nod and rub their chin and say to themselves: "do you know what? that poster has a point!" (capitals too!) ah! well the use of capitals defines the use of 'this' as purely ironic....
Uncle Albert Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 I like the new coloured font action being thrown around willy nilly nowadays.Adds a certain flair to the precedings. Correct it is, about time we added abit of colour to FoxesTalk.
Koke Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 I think you're all cunts [except for the ladies]. Let's just leave at that, shall we!!
Raj Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.ph...c=59045&hl= and it generated 5 pages of people posting 'this'...hilarious.... personally, i just find it totally pointless - you see a new post in a thread open up the thread and someone has has just posted 'this' under someone else's post... if you agree with a post, fair enough, say something, but why not add something else... it's just when the poster simply doesn't bother to add anything useful - not surprisingly the worst culprit is ultra, which in a way is, i suppose, something of a blessing This.....i agree with!!
Alexikokopops Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 well they could justt sit there and nod and rub their chin and say to themselves: "do you know what? that poster has a point!" But the whole point of an internet message board is to force everyone else to read your opinions whether they want to or not.
Lillehamring Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 But the whole point of an internet message board is to force everyone else to read your opinions whether they want to or not. 'This' - is NOT an opinion.
Alexikokopops Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 'This' - is NOT an opinion. Well you're saying you have the same opinion as above. Would you rather be able to just skim through ten posts saying "this" or read through ten posts saying exactly the same thing but worded slightly differently? I know the dream is that people didn't post at all if they were just saying the same thing, but lets be honest, that's not going to happen.
