Nice, back with a win and good to see Fryatt getting two goals. Apparently he took his second really well.

Hopefully we can follow it up with a win midweek!

Nice feeling. Got to keep winning at home and a few away. It's going to be tough to finish top two in this division.

A good win there, and a deserved one too. Whilst we didn't play particularly well, Fryatt gave us what we needed up front and was clinical with the two real opportunities he had. Blackpool weren't particularly adventurous, pretty much trying to hit us on the counter when possible.

Onwards to Tuesday to another winnable game.

Having just got back from the game, yet another set of bizarre substitutions almost cost us the game and win.

Dyer never deserved to be substituted and the hole left by his departure was not rectified at any point afterwards.

The substitution of Howard was even more bizarre and he wasn't happy about it either - and rightly so.

Negative substitutions which had little impact - after all, it was going quite well up to that point, so why change it?

Two seasons ago we would have crumbled, but our new sense of organisation, particularly at the back, just about saw us through this game.

Dyer was awful today. Someone needs to explain to him that he plays on the win, not in the centre. Howard did nothing wrong but i guess the sub was fitness/tiredness based.

I suppose it was very hot and players got tired easy, the reason for the subs.

Neither looked tired to me and just before being substituted, Dyer was running all over the place and even got some good challenges in.

As for Howard, he didn't do anything wrong all game and his hold up play was superb.

I think the heat had an effect today. Some of the players looked like they were just jogging in the last 10 mins.

I suspect the subs had more to do with giving them game time, where else do they get the chance to play rather than anything the on pitch players had done.
