The only thing I enjoyed was seeing that red retro top they have in the club shop, I'm going to buy one of them.

fucking 'el, cheer up man.

Someone actually bought me a hot dog.

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but it made my week if we're honest.

Some folks are remarkably easily pleased. :P

Best bit was Wayne Brown's turn of pace in the final minute.

Good grind out victory. Bit disappointed with a) selection of our starting 11 b) our subs which appear to be influenced by stature of personnel rather what was required.

But what do I know...we won.

I knew some racist things were bound to be fired at the ref...I am just happy I didn't hear any. It was one of the worst collective official performances ever. It wasn't the decisions, it was more that the linesmen actually looked unfit thus couldn't keep up with play and made the easy choice of constant flagging, a ref who was often poorly positioned to make a decision (and subsequently left a lot of the decisions to the linesmen) and a ropey fourth official who needs a calculator for injury time.

Interesting to see how we get one now against a team who like to have the ball on the deck. Surely we have enough firepower to get at Peterborough's defence again.

I see, I'll keep my eye out.

I used to have one back when they produced it before. Centre badge, nylon trim.

More expensive than a Chicken Balti pie and less nice. Poor effort.

Just got back from the game, deserved the win. Well done city.

On another note had a ruck with raciest city fans in the Keith Weller Lounge at half time.

Im so angry I cant explain to you. Was at the bar ordering my half time bevy, this ignorant bloke says facking pak* bastard ref we should of been winning etc.. I said hes actullay Indian and not pakistani. He was ignorant he didn't know the difference but yet made raciest coments about him because it was his fault we were drawing at half time and not because of Browns poor defending

Anyone with a brown face is a p*ki acording to this racist 50 year old.

Anyway his mate had to to stop it, as I was ready to knock his block off

I cant beleive this still happens in Leicester. I left the city 20 years ago when this kind of thing was really bad. I've lived in Derby and Nottingham in those years never heard such rubbish like I did at the walkers today. Im really shocked. I've recently been thinking about coming back to the city of my birth but this has really put me off.

Probably the same cock who sat next to me in the 1st half and took about 5 mins to call the ref a "Muslim terrorist twat" leading me to start venting my anger at him Fecking thick morons too ignorant to know he wasnt a Muslim anyway ffs. I went mad and his m8 was giving me daggers so we moved.

Thought we were pretty weak in midfield today, with Oakley having to make most of the running. It didn't help that Howard had a disappointing game where he struggled to win the ball. Doesn't matter one bit though, result is all that matters and 3 home wins from 3 exceeded my expectations. I think if we can get 7 points from our next 3 games (Pboro h, Watford a, Preston h) then we can truly say this has been a great start.

Thought it was an excellent game to be honest. I can't understand some of the negativity shown in here at all.

Blackpool looked a good side first half, I was scanning their side and they seem to have acquired some excellent players on the quiet. I completely disagree with the notion that they were playing for a draw, the amount of times, even 1st half, where they left themselves totally exposed at the back was crazy.

Thought Howard was excellent even though he doesn't look likely to score any time soon. Midfield was tidy although i'm a bit worried that against the quality sides we'll get overrun, the amount of space the opposition get in the centre simply by a turn of pace is pretty huge. The pass by Wellens for the 1st goal was absolutely sublime, looking forward to seeing it later.

Summed up the game in once sentence.

Ollie whats the score?

EDIT: Also don't know why everyones negative about brown? He's a great player, personally Dyer should of done better in that goal. Brown was their to pick up the peices and tried to his best.

Very happy, good home record we have, lets look to carry it on, Not a bad performance, We're half way to what I asked from these 2 home games - Looking to win on Tuesday now.

Happy, Excited, but keeping focused!

Well done lads.

What an odd game. Yeah, we won. But how did we actually manage to score? First half, bloody linesman with his back facing K1/L1 lifts his flag more often than Weale got his hands on a ball. Dyer could've scored, but was (falsely) flagged. And Fryatt's first... Ahem... Offside, anyone?

I think both Hobbs and Brown had a little shocker today, Hobbs' heading was atrocious, Brown's only marginally better. Just like at Newcastle away, they let one of the opposing players easily run through the middle and score. That's a bit of a concern.

Berner and Neilson were really, really good. Neilson solid as ever, couldn't notice any mistakes. Bruno with a couple of good runs forward and the odd trick on the ball.

Midfield - oh well, both Dyer and N'Guessan got caught up too often with silly dribblings and only few times managed to move forward efficiently.

What I must say, central midfield was way too tame. Oakley should've played more in an offensive role, but somewhat shared the space with Wellens in the middle and I can't recall us moving forward through the middle at all. What an odd system.

Howard won a few headers, but remained unspectacular. Is the age showing? Or was it the heat? I didn't really see a lot of him, which is a bit of a shame. Fryatt's two goals put him out of mediocrity, but again, there was one scene where he had a teammate (N'Guessan?) in a better position in the middle, waiting to get the ball. But Fryatt selfishly tries to score himself. Just like at Newcastle.

Again, overall we were too tame, too cautious. Can't complain about three points but I'm still wondering how we actually got them.

Berner was good today.

Disappointed to hear of the racial abuse towards the ref, But you have to be naive to think it doesn't happen. Although the majority of England do seem to think the racial element has disappeared from our game and it only rears its ugly head in Europe.

The ref did frustrate me when he got in the way for what seemed a well worked free kick, I called him a ............. Idiot. :D

Same in the second half on the other side of the pitch to K1/L1.

I just can't respect cocks like that.

Right i'm not sure what the rules are as regards to that but surely he should have pulled it back and let us retake?

Fair enough when a ref gets in the way during open play you can't really pull play back but from a dead ball, free kick situation surely he could and should stop the game and lets us retake?

Congratulations to the team and NP for a hard fought win against a mediocre but strong side. We deserved the three points today, if only just - Holloway's lot gave us a good game.

On the subject of Holloway, I thought the 'abuse' he received was half hearted at best and completely pointless. He seems to have assembled a reasonable Championship outfit at Blackpool - he'll do a lot better there than he did here, that's for sure.

They were strong in midfield with on-loan Emmanuel-Thomas running the show, and their 4-3-3 formation gave us problems in the first half, and our goal really did come against the run of play if we're honest. But having a player like Richie Wellens gives us that threat of being able to create something out of nothing, and that's exactly what the outside of his right boot did. It was a good finish from Fryatt but he had had some practice with the numerous 'offsides' that had been given against him earlier on. Our first 1st-half goal of the season! :P

Their equalizer, although it could have easily been avoided, didn't really come as a surprise. They looked decent going forward - Ben Burgess had Hobbs all sorts of trouble in the air, Charlie Adam is a good player and showed it with a composed finish, Brett Ormerod is useful and Jason Euell seems to have found a new lease of life at the Tangerines.

Wayne Brown should have dealt with it, but I'm sure we had numerous chances to get a stronger foot in during the build-up, but we didn't - something that cost us 12 days ago at Newcastle.

We came out a lot better in the second half, especially early on. We seemed to have a plan which stifled them going forward, mainly by putting pressure on them from the front. Obviously that pressure told as Eardley made a right hash of his clearance and Fryatt punished him in clinical fashion. He really has had a great start to the season. Fantastic, Matty! :D

Although I can see why a lot of fans were confused by NPs changes, I can't remember them really causing us any problems after King and then Waghorn came on. Dyer and Howard both looked knackered and were replaced at the right time in my opinion. And in fact, I think King did well in that defensive role and although he'd clearly like to get forward more, we couldn't afford to at the time.

I would have liked to have seen Kermorgant, but circumstances didn't permit. Hopefully he can make his home debut against Posh on Tuesday when we're 4-0 up again! ;)

All the officials were dreadful and I've no idea where that 4 minutes came from. Perhaps the referee just wanted longer to kick the ball in our net himself.

Well done Nigel and the lads :)
