Leon Osman ???

I read recently that EFC are prepared to let him go. Is he way out of our league?

Don't know much about him, but he played a fair few games for them last year, I think. The arrival of Davies (and possibly Scott Parker) will surely mean he gets the boot?

Jerey Dudek and Smicer..

They love this country liverpool will be showing them the door...

Ok, wages would be a stumbling block but they would transform the team into promotion cadidates.

They might do a dublin and want to PLAY and not worry about CASH?

Peter Ramage from Newcastle has just turned down a new deal and is leaving them. He's only 21 and a centre half I think? Could be worth looking at, he's made a few appearances for them this season aswell but he doesn't want to be a bit part player.

If im not mistaken i think that Ramage played against Manchester Utd at Old Trafford. I can remember seeing him , he looked very composed. I should imagine some of the top teams in this division will be looking at him.

Also there is some talk around here saying that if Wednesday dont get promotion then Jon Paul McGovern will be looking to leave. He's only been there a season. And he looks like a very old fashioned winger. He puts in some wonderful crosses and also has a good shot on him too. He would still be under contract though , and i cant see Wednesday letting him go for anything less that 150k - 250k.

we prob couldn't afford them and they probably wouldn't want to come (the two keepers at least), don't know much about the other lad.

I'd take either of the keepers but wages and them probably not being interested would be a problem.

Nardiello didn't do much during a few loan spells at lower levels than this one so that'd be pointless.

Peter Ramage has turned down a third contract offer. :D:Dlollol:thumbup:;)

RAMAGE CALLS THE SHOTS - FOR NOW

By William Gordon

Date: 29/5/2005

Peter Ramage has turned down a third contract offer from Newcastle United after failing to get assurances that he is in Graeme Souness's first-team plans.

But is the youngster getting too big for his boots, having only made the first team because of a glut of injuries to other players?

He wants first team action, as does every other player at the club, and Souness is not prepared to make promises.

As it stands it now looks like the 21-year-old could leave St James' Park this summer in search of regular football, and he has one gun in his arsenal with one Premiership club apparently willing to bid for him.

The defender made only five appearances for the Magpies last season, all out of position at full-back, but he feels he deserves a place in the team.

He was offered an improved contract to stay at St James' Park, with his present deal running out at the end of next month. But he wants more.

FOOTBALL: SCOTTISH CUP: DOUGLAS IN FOXES TALKS

May 29 2005

RAB DOUGLAS will break off from his Scottish Cup celebrations this week to travel south in a bid to finalise his move to Leicester City.

The Celtic keeper's appearance in yesterday's final looks certain to be the last match of his four-and-a-half year Hoops career.

Douglas revealed he has already had talks with Foxes boss Craig Levein and will have another meeting he hopes will end in a deal at the Walkers Stadium.

He said: 'Hopefully we'll get it sorted out this week. Going to Leicester would be like a fresh start. There are a few Scots boys there so it would be good.

'But it's great to win the Scottish Cup and if it turns out that I finish my career by keeping a clean sheet in the final then great, I'll be delighted.

'I can't say I've been in a dressing room like that where there's a chance so many guys are leaving.

'Although a few are out of contract you never know what will happen.'

Douglas know it's been a golden era for Celtic under Martin O'Neill but admitted the disappointment of losing the league lingered despite the Cup victory.

He said: 'The boys were devastated last week and we just wanted to win the final
