maddog Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Donny have 4 wins, 4 clean sheets in their last 5 matches. They did however lose 1-0 yesterday at Coventry so we're playing them at a good a time as we could have hoped for. But only Blackpool and Newcastle have better home records than Doncaster, they have lost just one at the keepmoat, which weirdly was against Barnsley. Can we match Barnsley As much as i think our players are finely tuned athletic machines, i anticipate changes with only 43 hours between leaving the pitch last night and running back onto another pitch at Doncaster, theres going to be 2 or 3 changes i rekon to accomodate the short rest time. Only West Brom have lost fewer games away from home than the mighty LCFC. We haven't played Doncaster this decade, this could be another stadium crossed off your list, i would be going if i wasn't working. A win is important to keep our little run going, and increase our lead over 7th place, plus stick with Forest and West Brom is possible. I think we may do it. 2-1 win, Fryatt and Kermo scoring
ousefox Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Looking forward to this. Hopefully Berner and Hobbs are able to play as I wouldn't like the defenders that finished the game yesterday to play a whole game tomorrow.

Also change the Andy King bit in ya sig, he has come on since then
Guest Bilo Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 With Donny's home record, I'd be inclined to take a draw. The last thing we want is to go into an FA Cup match and league break on the back of a defeat. Hopefully the team will be more positive than me though. A tough one to call, but I'm going for a 1-1 draw with the improving Dyer scoring our goal.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Only West Brom have lost fewer games away from home than the mighty LCFC. Forest haven't lost away from home at all yet. Their record is W3 D9 L0.
Fox92 Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Draw. Can't wait for this one, first visit to the Keepmoat, 40mins away from home after a 2-1 win over Sheffield United! Come on.
LoughboroughFox Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Draw for me, only lost 1 at home going to be a tough game, fryatt scores
MPH Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Its actually games like this that will define our season... You need to be getting results against stubborn teams with good home records to stand any chance of promotion...
dandannieldanok Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 We really could do with a win to keep the heat up on Forest but Donny are a solid team. 1-1 draw. Sharp and Fryatt scoring.
Ozwin Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Sheffield United were unbeaten in 6 and we played brilliantly against them. Who's to say we can do the same again tommorow Can't wait. 6 points in 3 days is asking a lot but it's very very doable now.
davieG Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Forest haven't lost away from home at all yet. Their record is W3 D9 L0. Points wise several teams are better than us as well.
Micky Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Forest haven't lost away from home at all yet. Their record is W3 D9 L0. yet that has only seen them pick up 4 more points on the road than us.
Ozwin Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Anyone feeling a Forest/Leicester playoff final in the works? Just me then?
Guest Bilo Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 yet that has only seen them pick up 4 more points on the road than us. Weird isn't it? The whole 'unbeaten away from home' record doesn't sound so impressive when you say '3 wins in 12.' Anyone feeling a Forest/Leicester playoff final in the works?Just me then? Would rather play someone else there to be honest. There's no-one I'd hate to lose to more.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Anyone going from the Notts/Derby area? I've got spare seats in the car if they want to split petrol costs...
Shrenchel Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 We'll sneak it by one or two. Feeling more confident than usual for some reason. Decided against going in the end. Christmas got me brassic. Terrace warriors/rich cvnts, show them who we are.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Anyone feeling a Forest/Leicester playoff final in the works?Just me then? If that happened and we lost, I'd get the noose out, and suicide would be imminent.
bigneville Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 If Hobbs is fit, there is no reason why we can't go to the Keepmoat and take 3 points. If however its Morrison & McGivern in the heart of the defence, I will snatch a point of your hands now.
Fosse Boy Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Anyone feeling a Forest/Leicester playoff final in the works?Just me then? Leicester-Forest and Cardiff-Swansea playoff semis would be a treat.

This. Although I'd be slightly more worried about the fullbacks..
Daggers Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 This. Poppet, just to let you know - the 'young people' no longer write that to appear cool. You may want to change it for something else as it makes you look a bit of a twat if you're not using it ironically.
jonthefox Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 i voted for a win. theres a confidence around us at the minute, and i think its going to last all season. im making `london `plans already for may.....know what i mean.

(a bob mills and danny baker (also liza tarbuck ) tv vehicle) to the more modern snog, marry, avoid? anyway, i think the depleted team will take much heart from saturday's game and scrape it 1-0 in the 84th minute.
