TBH im not too excited about Taylor. He's an ok standard Championship player and thats it. At 30 years old and at around 12k a week he doesent excite me. If he signs ok not worried if he dosen't. I think our money could be spent better. For that much money I would expect 10 goals a season and a playoff position, he's just a journeyman defender expecting one last decent contract. He's not a quality premiership player otherwise brum would keep him.

Worryingly, we obviously coudn't afford his wages! It was a free transfer and we only wanted him on a long term loan?

Our financial plight must be worse than we are led to believe?

Pearson said his wages were not a problem,he decided he wanted to speak to newcastle they obviously didnt want him and now pearson wont sign him.

Cant blame pearson really :dunno:

Or we wanted a loan and he wanted a contract, hence no deal.

He's got his contract for 2 years we probably didn't want to offer that presumably because Tunchev will be back.

Weird one this as im sure i read somewhere last week that stated the Brum boss wanted a transfer fee. :dunno:

McLeish wanted a permanent transfer rather than a loan. I don't think a transfer fee was mentioned.

So Pearson messes up another transfer leaving us with our current shambles of a defence. Seems increasing obvious that it doesn't take much to piss off N.Pearson. I look back to the Gradel transfer, remember in the last home game of the season when everyone was celebrating, Maxi interupted Pearson during his interview, Pearson wasn't impressed and said he'd be fined for that. I like the rest of the people that saw that assumed he was joking. I now doubt it. Pearson probably did fine Gradel and thats when the relationship between them got ruined.

But anyway, back to Taylor, the guy has a right to weigh up his options, I would.

lol aren't you the joker who wasn't impressed with Pearsons facial expressions on the touchline against Ipswich?
