Think it could be a cracking signing, he's just coming back from injury himself isn't he? And he's out of contract in the summer that's why brum want a permenent deal. Worth a shout.

Only one real question,

I know he is right footed but can he play on the left of the central pairing?

Hobbs and Morrison seem much better on the right so someone comfortable on the left would be worth having.

Otherwise, no thanks! bigger priorities elsewhere.

Imagine him and Wayne Brown at the back. Broken legs left, right and centre.

ooh nasty, broken left and right legs is all in the game... but breaking that centre leg is going a bit far :)

Lies!!

Well you can't say you didn't see him at the training ground!

I'd be happy to see him here even if it's just as cover although he must be in better form then Brown to get a starting line up place.

I don't think he'll ever live down the tackle on Eduardo though on a side note.

NOTW reporting Newcastle also looking at Taylor - article mentions towards the bottom that he's been offered 2.5 yr contract by us already.

Think he will choose us over Newcastle. He wont get 1st team football at Newcastle.

He would in the short term, as i think The Toon's defence is injury hit. But as you say if he's thinking of his career and not the money, Leicester would make a better move for him.

Wouldn't be overly fussed if there's any truth in this.

The only alarming thing to me about this transfer is that it indirectly indicates Tunchev is not looking likely to return anytime soon.

Apparently Steven Taylor is out injured for a while, so I can see why they want a replacement.

...possibly for the rest of the season. Hope it's just papertalk driven by Taylor's agent to try to push a deal with us through.

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is waiting for the next move from Leicester City over defender Martin Taylor.

McLeish said Blues were waiting for the next development.

He said: “Nothing has happened yet. I think his agent has been speaking to them but there’s nothing.”
