Professor Terrance Ginola Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 not if your boss reads this thread it's not! My boss (the head of classics) has already read this......... It was me I'm the head I see you're still swerving and haven't come up with a retort to challenge my stats. Why don't you just say you were wrong and apologise to me and the other posters you've belittled on the back of tesco value statistics..
Guest lcfc80 Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 For someone who wasn't there and has nothing to do with the EDL you claim to know a shitload about what happened yesterday. Anyway, I was there and I did hear racist shit while walking through town from people in their cringeworthy EDL branded polo shirts and songs such as Allah Is A Paedo and You're Not English Any More from the other side of the cordon. Much more than the 100 or so you're claiming as well. As for random quotes, that's a bit rich coming from somebody who admits they got a lot of info from The Sun. I'm talking from first-hand experience and investigative journalism from proper news outlets. Try watching some videos on The Guardian website regarding what they're really about and what you'll see is a racist group of thugs. No doubt you'll think it's been staged by The Guardian but the numbers of idiots say otherwise. , you are that confussed and angry you are getting me and lcfcstu mixed up. I havent mentioned a newspaper. I also know alot went on because i know people that were there, many people infact, and not just in the cordon, i also have spoken to many people that were just watching events that have no interest either way. the video's that are in the public domain only show about 100 kicking off. just because people join in the eurphoria of a song means nothing. I wonder how many on here have joined in with a song at the football in the heat of the moment but would never dream of it outside the ground in normal life. doesnt make it right but there will always be examples of people getting hot headed and not covering themselves in glory
Koke Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Can someone on the EDL "side" of things tell me what exactly is being protested by their marches, by the way? What exactly is "protesting against Islamic extremists?" I mean, who are they protesting to? Who are they trying to convince and what exactly are they trying to convince them? I asked that 15 pages ago, but didn't get an answer. They have no objective or target. It's just a group of boys going from city to city, tearing up the place, causing mayhem in local communities, and wasting police time and resources. I don't know how long EDL have been in existence, but if someone can tell me what positive things they have achieved so far in their tenure, I'm all ears. I think they should hire me as their policy maker, strategist and PR spokesman. I would bring organisation and structure to that mess.

Why don't you just say you were wrong and apologise to me and the other posters you've belittled on the back of tesco value statistics.. what statistics?! i implied non EDL members of society cause less damage/injury/police presence than EDL members. Are you disagreeing with that? p.s. you will have a boss of sorts, and i'd love to know what him/her makes of your opinions
Guest lcfc80 Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 41 pages in, you typing all manner of racist bollox yet it's me saying you're mentally disturbed that's turned this thread into a race debate! deluded or what?! stilll no need to go grassing to try and get people banned, people can disagree with me all night long but id never call for them to be banned

Guest Bilo Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 , you are that confussed and angry you are getting me and lcfcstu mixed up. I havent mentioned a newspaper. Interesting. And singing something like an off-colour football chant at a player who has pissed you off is absolutely nothing like racial abuse levelled at innocent bystanders. Surely you can see that that argument is the argument of a child?

What exactly is "protesting against Islamic extremists?" I mean, who are they protesting to? Who are they trying to convince and what exactly are they trying to convince them? now this may sound like a cop out but I couldn't answer it 100% correctly on their behalf as I may not be completly right so couldnt speak on the EDL's behalf. This is a sensible idea and im sure you would get an answer, i'll even pass a message on to make sure you do. why not contact the EDL through the website explaining we are having a debate on here and want to know what they stand for and want to achieve?
Bugg Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Why is everyone who is in disagreement with the EDL called a lefty? I wouldn't consider myself left wing just for not being against Muslims.

Surely you can see that that argument is the argument of a child? my info has come from many sources like i said, not carefully selected as you may suggest, including the news reports (unless you think they are part of the wider conspiricy aswell). And who said anything about songs to a player? im on about directed at the opposition fans, everyones done it, man utd get their share for starters.
AoWW Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Luckily immigrants aren't interested in classical history so my jobs safe So you're Head of Classics yet you still don't fully understand when to use an apostrophe. Hmmm.
Webbo Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Tbf Webbo you are constantly avoiding the point made by the EDL guy. Why can't ethnic 'minorites' be racist, but white people have to go to great lenghts to avoid being accused of it. I'm not constantly avoiding anything. I never said ethnic minorities couldn't be racist and I wouldn't anyway because I don't believe it. Anyone who needlessly insults a total stranger because of their colour or religion is an ignorant twat and if you read my contributions in the earlier parts of this thread you'll see I think both sides of this demo are knobheads. Because he knows he's wrong. Either that or he's staggered to one too many scream pubs. Me a student.
sdb Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 stilll no need to go grassing to try and get people banned, people can disagree with me all night long but id never call for them to be banned that's because your not offended by out right racism. I am.
Guest lcfc80 Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 that's because your not offended by out right racism. I am. pal, i dont agree with alot of the left wing views and could quite rightly in my eyes take offence, grassing and calling for bans should be a no no though. very bad form
Bugg Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 pal, i dont agree with alot of the left wing views and could quite rightly in my eyes take offence, grassing and calling for bans should be a no no though. very bad form He doesn't really need to grass for you to get banned anyway. Admins do read these threads you know?
sdb Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 pal, i dont agree with alot of the left wing views and could quite rightly in my eyes take offence, grassing and calling for bans should be a no no though. very bad form find me something equally abusive from one of us 'extreme lefties' ( ) so i can compare. if i think someone's views have no place on here i'll have my say thanks very much. it is a forum after all. you can ask for me to be banned if you like, i won't get up on my high horse and tell you off. 'very bad form sir!' (who talks like that?!) No I Imagined it. Of course I wrote it you jaffa cake. i thought you just said no insults!!? naughty professor of classics!
Bugg Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Someone ban this SDB clown, with extreme leftist views, the Marxist bastard.
sdb Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Someone ban this SDB clown, with extreme leftist views, the Marxist bastard. really bad form sunshine. really bad. tut tut. really bad.

If admin read these then let them do their jobs and stop crying to get people banned for having a difference of opinion. like i said, if you disagree, show them up by arguing the toss with them instead of grassing
Bugg Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 really bad form sunshine. really bad. tut tut. really bad.

Finnegan Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 In the 41 pages your name has popped up on numerous occasions and I found myself furiously disagreeing with every word written by yourself. At least I thought you were an intellect but now you tell us you haven't a clue of what the organisation you spend hours belittling is about? Christ on a bike, another lefty knowitall thinks he has the answer to the countries problems because he spent ten years at uni only to drop out and rack up a debt of £30,000. I appreciate entirely what the organisation is about - I've read the testimonies of their members and, like everyone else, I've seen how it manifests in reality. What I would like to know is what exactly they perceive the end result to actually be? I would genuinely enjoying reading an actual answer to this question instead of repeated rhetoric and shallow cliché. now this may sound like a cop out but I couldn't answer it 100% correctly on their behalf as I may not be completly right so couldnt speak on the EDL's behalf. This is a sensible idea and im sure you would get an answer, i'll even pass a message on to make sure you do. why not contact the EDL through the website explaining we are having a debate on here and want to know what they stand for and want to achieve? As long as they can conduct themselves with any reasonable amount of decorum I'd welcome any member of EDL showing some willingness to come here and intelligently debate their beliefs but I can earnestly say I have no desire to go over there and post. I'm a well documented gobshite who is quick to temper, I'd probably only end up in a slagging match. I used to contribute to some "Conservative Punk" messageboard years ago as an "outed Socialist," ie they'd let us silly lefties post as long as we kept it civil. But it never really stayed civil and eventually I left after realising that every time I read the place it made my skin crawl. Nothing like sweeping generalisations then It isn't a sweeping generalisation, it's an exaggeration of well documented fact - I am a uni drop-out in considerable debt. I think you can be reasonably sure that PFG is an established Foxes Talk member having a wind up. It wouldn't even surprise me if it's Daggers or some new incarnation of Alan Johnson; half of their posts smack of satire - I mean come on, snacks and pop from the Bristol NF? I concede there's margin for error in my judgement - this thread has apparently attracted the attention of the actual EDL so of course there's some possibility that he's genuine. But I'll be utterly staggered if he is, genuinely.
sw_fox Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Its funny how some people on here's definition of a 'leftie' is simply someone who isn't completely racist.
Bugg Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 are you going to bring anything to the table or just buzz around like an annoying fly? willy puller.
