Where muslim populations increase in numbers in a country, it is inevitable that they will increasingly push their bullshit practices on the primary culture. As they increase, they demand disgusting halal, complain about everything that even mocks them in the slightest, and as their population reaches over 10%, they tend to become lawless (car burnings in paris, russian schools attacked). We all know what countries with majority islamic populations are like. Sharia law, stonings, attacks on other religions, and so on. Uncivilised cvnts. I would also like to know the answer to this question. Basically skim-read the last few pages, so to add my twopenn'th... There seems to be a great deal of confusion as to what the EDL does, both among its members and those outside. Officially they're protesting against "extremist Islam", however the fact that their shite and cringeworthy chants suggest they are in fact opposed to all Muslims shows that this is clearly not the case. Are they acting as a serious pressure group? Well, I don't know many serious political demonstrators who view their attendance as a "day out" in which they spend a few hours having a piss-up before they demonstrate. So again, this is clearly not the case. Are they then acting as a vehicle for English national pride? Again the answer has to be no, as an Englishman I feel they represent almost the polar opposite of what makes me proud to live in this country. English Pride does not equal White Pride, and sadly almost any attempt of well-meaning patriotism in this country gets hijacked by the far right for their own ends. Of course people should be allowed to celebrate their national identity, for a lot of people it forms a big part of who they are. But when people show this by singing bigoted and often downright racist songs, it makes you wonder how genuinely proud they are of their own nationality if they have to resort to putting down others to display pride in their own nationhood. All in all, the EDL is an extremely confusing organisation, and I will always remain skeptical of its motives and actions while so much evidence exists that they are a more sinister group than they make out. Oh, and JME, sorry to hear about your brother mate. Like I say, you get prejudiced twats from all backgrounds and these vile thugs should be held to account just as much as the EDL ****** who decided to smash up parts of our city yesterday.

EDL try to avoid it but their organisation has grown too quick, too soon and any intelligent, reasoned argument is swept aside as they consist of idiots looking for trouble and having a 'laugh'. EDL are violent; before the MDL turned up on the scene, they were trying to break the cordon during the static demo's. They will never 'win' Leicester; it's a solid multi-cultural city. Take an event like Caribbean Carnival where everyone has a drink on park celebrating a decent day out in a chilled atmosphere. We are a relative united society. Reading their forums and despite the odd member even pointing out that violence and disruption is going to lose support, they insist they are winning some kind of 'battle'. Do they seriously not realise that Police are swamping all over them? They will ensure the laws are watertight against demo's and marches in relation to religion, they will supervise and eventually arrest their leaders and it will soon lose it's 'good day' attraction. To top it off, I can not think of a single issue of muslim extremism which has affected me. Certainly not the 'islamification of the UK' anyway; the bombings and protests at the army were acts of cowardice and terrorism. They were not acts of a 'muslim invasion'. The EDL talks off this two-tier system, 'us and them'; so the likes of Abu Hamza (I am not supporting him, he's a object of muslim extremist and he's in the clink) etc. in prison or suspected terrorists held for increasing amounts of time without charge is a clear indication that the EDL are treated differently?

Erm.....because if you look at our 'white' history (the holocaust, slave trade, imperialism, indentured workers, apartheid, segregation, the inquisition), we have been the ones who have been 'doing' the racism; or at least putting racist ideas into practice into systems. Kind of makes it a sensitive topic for ethnic minorities when over the last few hundred years we have raped their countries, enslaved and indentured their ancestors, committed acts of mass murder against them and then treated them as second class citizens. I must admit the lengths I have to go to to avoid being labelled a racist are shocking. Whenever I meet an Asian friend I have to say something ridiculously PC and un-natural like 'Morning mate, how was your weekend?' And some ethnic minorities can be racist but not to the same extent as some white people. For the millionth time, when was the last time an Asian group of hooligans descended upon a city in their thousands for the day, abused as many whites as they possibly could and rounded it all of by rampaging through the city centre? I have one question about this, there has been a few videos of these 'thick yobs' kicking off but i'd guess all the videos show about 100 lads causing trouble, so out of around 2000/3000 edl people that turned up how does the 100 odd properly kicking off represent the whole of the edl who on a whole behaved. The only thing I found strange about 9/11 is why Muslims refuse to blame even of radical islam for the events of 9/11 . it's even more tiresome when radical islam has taken full responsibility yet I have yet to meet a Muslim who says or agrees that 9/11 was the results of planned and premeditated plans carried out by MUSLIMS. I know some muslims who even think GW Bush was in florida guiding planes by remote control into the buildings. It's exactly people like this who make not only radical islam easy to hate for the masses, but moderate islam , too...and again herein is the problem. Moderate islam needs to pull it's finger out of it's arse and start naming and shaming the ****ers in their midst who wish harm on innocent people instead of protecting them. By protecting them and denying they even exist, moderate islam sails dangerously close to the line of radical islam....and the responsibility to differentiate between the 2 lies in the hands of those who have a very limited tolerance threshold towards mass murder of innocents and even smaller intellectual capacity to know that radical is different and totally distinct to peaceful, harmonious moderate islam. In the UK , the ball is squarely in the court of the Moderate Islam to brand it's self as a faith of tolerance and peace, but as long as it continues to protect the radicals, EDL and others who sympathise will continue to flourish.
