AyewJoking Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 With comfortable wins for both sides today, here are the remaining fixtures. Leicester P'boro A Watford H Preston A Middlesbrough H Blackpool Newcastle A Forest H P'boro A Bristol H
flanimal Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Not a bad run in, the only team that will have anything to play for when they play Leicester is Watford. Peterborough are relegated, Preston are likely safe and can't get promoted, same for Middlesbrough.

dandannieldanok Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Swansea are well in the battle too, not just us and Blackpool.
mr whippy Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Dont think Cleverley will be playing for watford when we play them. Nasty looking injury for him today bent his knee the wrong way.
Aeropars Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 While on paper we should be looking to win all 4 games, I cant see that happening. I can see maybe 2 wins and a draw but I'm not sure thats going to be enough. Blackpool have had some great results and I wouldnt bet against them getting a win at Newcastle or against Forest. I'd be interested to see what Swansea's runin looks like.
Collymore Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 I think it's bad playing Peterborough the game after getting relegated, I've seen it so many times where teams get results when the pressure is off
Fox 4 Life Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Swansea Bristol City A Barnsley H Sheffield Utd A Doncaster H
Aeropars Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Swansea Bristol City A Barnsley H Sheffield Utd A Doncaster H Bugger... i can see swansea winning all 4 of them.
z-layrex Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 It's a shame we've even given Blackpool the chance really but at least we have easier games than them. I dont know how people go through their entire lives supporting LC without suffering some sort of cardiac event
huddfox Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 I think we have the worst run in out of the 3 because peterborugh can relax and middlesborough and preston are no push-overs
UrbanFox Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 I think it's bad playing Peterborough the game after getting relegated, I've seen it so many times where teams get results when the pressure is off Agreed mate, The amount of times teams get relegated and them come good when theres no pressure anymore.
Brainy Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Two home wins and an away draw will hopefully be enough. Blackpool stand no chance against Newcastle... surely
CupidStunt Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 if i had to choose, i'd pick our run in still gets me how our player in campbell is having a big effect on the run in games at this stage i can see blackpool picking up another 7-8? points at the very best we probably getting another 7-8 at best? heres my prediction table, lmfao thats if forest lose every game ,lmfao missed a newc' game off, btw, not that it makes any difference

Anish Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 I think it's bad playing Peterborough the game after getting relegated, I've seen it so many times where teams get results when the pressure is off Agreed, it's a dangerous game and we can't be complacent. To be honest we could easily come unstuck against both Peterborough and Middlesbrough - they are not easy fixtures and Middlesbrough will be pushing hard to make the playoffs. They are 6 points off and could cut that down to 3 if they beat us, so let's not count our chickens yet .

Asha Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Can't believe everyone seems to have counted Reading out, they're on an amazing run and have got games in hand. Win both their games in hand, and they're only 3 points behind.
DB11 Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Pressure off for Peterborough. Newcastle nothing to play for. Goes against Leicester

Matt Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Pressure off for Peterborough. Newcastle nothing to play for. Goes against Leicester The league title.
Head Honcho Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Pressure off for Peterborough. Newcastle nothing to play for. Goes against Leicester ............and a new manager for P'boro tomorrow
Bert Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 ............and a new manager for P'boro tomorrow Not taking over 'til next season though is he? I thought JG was staying on until the end of this campaign?
Babylon Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Pressure off for Peterborough. Newcastle nothing to play for. Goes against Leicester Pressure off for Newcastle. Peterborough nothing to play for. Goes for Leicester
Bugg Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Disagree with the people saying that Newcastle have nothing to play for. Now that they are officially promoted, they will now want to win the league title and keep their unbeaten home run going.
