jonny_wright Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Has anyone heard anything regarding next seasons new kits and our new shirt sponsor? Maybe Milan is waiting to see which devision we are in next season before commiting!
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 It'll be the same design as this season but with an as-yet unnamed sponsor.
Jimbo Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Just a stab in the dark (no reference to DJ) but I reckon it could be autoglass It's just the advertisement on the website, about winning a pair of season tickets courtesy of autoglass, that got me thinking
C-man Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I swear that if it's Autoglass and they play 'Autoglass repair, Autoglass replace' every matchday then I'll miss kick off every week.
calum_lcfc Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Autoglass are doing that season ticket thing for every football league team so it won't be them
Jordan Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Just a stab in the dark (no reference to DJ) but I reckon it could be autoglass It's just the advertisement on the website, about winning a pair of season tickets courtesy of autoglass, that got me thinking A lucrative sponsorship deal with Autoglass could maybe bail out (no reference to Nobby) Leicester of some of their financial worries
kam6 Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I would like to see Walkers crisps on the shirt. I would also like to see the all white kit back, that was nice!
Fosse Boy Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 No sponsor is the ideal solution. Doubt we'll get that again until our 130th anniversary mega-celebration year though...
Tony Pine Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I would like to see Walkers crisps on the shirt. I would also like to see the all white kit back, that was nice!
Corky Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 We should have one of the choices for the shirt from last season. "Forever Foxes"
mikey54 Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 New sponsors should be Beta-Blockers UK - I swear my blood pressure has gone through the roof over the past few weeks
nuneatonfox Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I remember at Hinckley United that the pull a sponsor out of a hat.
Edmund Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I'm sure the club haven't agreed anything yet and wont until they find out which division were in next season. The fee in question vastly differs if you're in the prem for obvious reasons. Mandaric couldn't really ask for a better situation to be in and if we get promoted the club will benefit financially from the sponsorship.
Hitesh Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I said to my brother a few weeks back it it would be Autoglass!
irDeano Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 thinking along the lines of topps tiles, it could well be something like:
lildave3 Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Autoglass, well, Belron do run a lot of competitions with tickets and things, but it won't be them that sponsor us.
goose2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Regarding Jessops according to a good source they had first refusual on the sponsor and turned it down as they couldnt afford it, i can see them still being on the back though. Stab in the dark but maybe everards? local company that need all the advertising they can get??
Guest Bilo Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 It seems pointless speculating at this time as Mandaric is unlikely to negotiate sponsors until after the play-offs. Local firms, national firms and multi-national firms will all be in the hat as the whole point of having a sponsor is to generate the maximum amount of cash. I'd like to see us promoting a local firm but am not that bothered so long as we don't have a monstrous logo on our shirts a la Topps Tiles and the club can make enough money out of it to help balance the books.
bluebeau Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 thinking along the lines of topps tiles, it could well be something like: I bloody well hope it isn't this shite outfit! They are a cowboy franchise operation & wouldn't be able to afford to sponsor a Premiership Club imo. As for the suggestion of Jessops, they were about 5mins away from receivership last year, so I doubt if they could afford to be the football clubs main sponsor. I don't have any info, but I would love to see Walkers back as the main sponsor, after all the stadium bears their name, & they are a Leicester based company employing a lot of local people.
Ricey Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 On the email Leicester sent yesterday, when you clicked on the merchandise image the URL that directs you to LCFC Direct is kappa.ecommzone.com. Might be nothing in that though.
