Unit Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 When you're smiling, sang by the players. BBC news just now. The players and Lee Jobber singing "Sing when you're smiling" We can only hope it's as good as this:
Katy Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 When you're smiling, sang by the players. BBC news now. Just seen this now, hilarious! Jobber getting in on the act as well. East Midlands Today love us at the moment.
Craig Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Says a lot about the fantastic team spirit we have here, I guess. When do we get to hear it?!

Jodranadinho Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 they took football up for a reason, let the fans do the singing whatever happened to heroes in blue and white?
Narborough_fox Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 whatever happened to heroes in blue and white? Who knows, wasily the best Leicester song and they take t away shows how bad fans management it is !!
Unit Posted 27 April 2010 Author Posted 27 April 2010 I'm confused, what the frig is going on? On the news tonight (east midlands) there was a bit about city players singing a song, it's a version of "when you're smiling" and it showed most of the players singing about 4 seconds worth, all you heard was "WHEN YOU'RE SMILING...." which it always a good sign.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I did like the fact they listed Steve Walsh as 'assistant manager' on the caption when he was speaking.
iancognito Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 So embarrassing Why would they do it? It'd be nearly understandable if we were going to Wembley but that's not even certain. If that gets broadcast on national TV we'll be a laughing stock. They should be concentrating on playing not singing songs

It won't effect their playing abilities at all. Its making the players enjoy the position we are in at the moment, rather than feeling pressured by the play offs.

If that gets broadcast on national TV we'll be a laughing stock. They should be concentrating on playing not singing songs It will be if people interpret it as an expression of jubilation at having simply qualified for the play-offs. Which most will... I'm not averse to the idea of a recording of WYS though. I get the impression that most fans don't know the words or don't even know it's the unofficial club anthem. Granted it sounds shit when we sing it, but I still think it's a good anthem because it came exclusively from the fans adopting it, not the club or some pop group creating a song intended to be adopted.
ScouseFox Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 coming up next on SSN Just seen it on SSN. Will be played against Boro on Sunday apparently, everyone looked like they were having a laugh, but it was a bit dodgy.
