It's definitely not a case of the Socialist Party clinging onto students(a lot of whom don't follow politics) with very attractive taglines to them as support to further an agenda.

It's not only the socialist party but they are the worst culprits. 

 

Well at least the students I know, most of them don't follow UK politics closely and are much more bothered about other things. Probably rightly so tbh

A lot students will latch on to anything vaguely left-leaning, if that's what you mean. And looking back I suppose most students I knew joined causes to impress cute girls in Belle and Sebastian t-shirts.

Maybe at that age they care about other people and what is going on in the world.

 

Then they leave get a job get married and have a family then they only care about what is happening in their own little world.

 

There are some though that retain their ideals and they become conspiracy theorists.

Although it seems some people are so politically biased they can't even laugh at their own party. odd.
