lookwhaticando Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 To quote my dad (who isn't a Foxes fan): How were you ever going to win when Cardiff are playing with three goalkeepers?
MikeyT Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 Angry and a bit deflated. How a Premiership ref can miss 3 penalty appeals, one of them which was absolutely blatant, is a disgrace.
flanimal Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 Tactics were not great today. Long balls to Waghorn who was isolated. Passing wasn't the best either. Never really thought we'd score, but I thought the defending was top notch. 2-0 against Cardiff is a big ask, I hope we can do it!
ozleicester Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 2 Definite penalty calls.. and 2 fair questions. Very hard done by, can win it in Wales.
Jonezy Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 I hate Peter Whittingham and refs refusing to give us hand to ball penalties... Thats all...

Legend_in_blue Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 A tactical disaster for 89 minutes. Until N'Guessan ran that line with purpose we offered very little.
kimbell Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 Cardiff were the better team for most of the game. They deserve to win, Pearson's tactics were negative playing 1 up front, we did not have a shot till till the 53rd minute, what a shame to put in all that hard work all season ....[]only to bottle it with inept tactics!!! :@ (YOU HAVE TO HAVE A GO IN YOUR HOME LEG..WE DIDN'T..SIMPLE AS THAT)

lookwhaticando Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 Have to disagree with that, our performance in the second half merited at least a draw. If only we had played in the entire 90 as we had done in the last 9.
MikeyT Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 If only we had played in the entire 90 as we had done in the last 9. We never make it easy for ourselves. Just keep fingers crossed for wednesday night now. Going to be one hell of a game.
foxoffderby Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 I thought NP got it wrong today. Dyer didn't look comfortable up front. Although I would of put him out wide and taken Gallagher off. Fryatt is not match fit and lacked confidence which is understandable after that injury. Wellens was off his game today trying to do too much fancy stuff. Was Andy King playing ? Spearing was dominated today. We lost the game in midfield. On the positive side I thought Hobbs was very good and Bruce had a good game. We did have some penalty claims turned down, however we should of created more. Far play to Cardiff they were the best team overall and deserved the win. Tough ask Wednesday, but staranger things have happend. Was looking forward to Wembley too.

He probably wanted Dyer and Gallagher to support Waghorn much more!! He even said it to Walshy at half-time. May have been nerves, hoofing balls which they would normally play simple and sitting back instead if pushing forward. I think we need to start Howard and Waghorn next week and consider Vaughan on the bench if fit as well as N'guessen pushing for a start. We have to play with no fear which will be difficult against such a talented attacking side. Oh and Wittingham man of the match?? Didnt do fook all until free-kick and it wasnt one anyway. Git.
flanimal Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 We need some width. We hardly had any chances all game. All we seemed to play was long balls, to a lone striker, who is not even 6ft tall. Bad tactics, but have to put it right on wednesday.
foxesfan1 Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 I cannot believe not one penalty was given im baffled! , and i love the guy but how did fryatt miss the last chance urgh, we only looked like the leicester we seenevery week in the last 10minutes as well which was so annoying i know we can play better, i really hope that we can seriously pull something out of our A**e!
lcfcsnow Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 A tactical disaster for 89 minutes. Until N'Guessan ran that line with purpose we offered very little. Agreed. very disappointed, it wasn't another league game when you can get away with playing like that, it was a one off game and we didn't go for it like the other 3 teams did, till it was too late. Fryatt had a mare, understandable but can't be an option on wednesday.
atw88 Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 Hahahahhahhhahahahahahahahahahahagaha fook off all of you, if you can't score a one on one you won't score a fooking penalty THE BLUES ARE GOING UP
flanimal Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 Hahahahhahhhahahahahahahahahahahagaha fook off all of you, if you can't score a one on one you won't score a fooking penalty THE BLUES ARE GOING UP If you have to play football with your hands you're going nowhere.

Bad tactics, but have to put it right on wednesday. There is no way Pearson set out the team to play long balls to lone striker Waghorn! The team didn't play how they were told. After half-time they got better and supported the attack better once Pearson had a word! I think will be a change next week. Howard definate for start, King has to be more involved! Spearing needs to step-up. I was very impressed with the defence. Still be tempted to start Morrison over Nobby if 100% fit as he can score goals too.? Fryatt on bench. I think Vaughan would be a better impact sub to be honest. N'guessen in place of Dyer maybe?? Just more physical presence
z-layrex Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 Hahahahhahhhahahahahahahahahahahagaha fook off all of you, if you can't score a one on one you won't score a fooking penalty THE BLUES ARE GOING UP You know posts like this just make you look like an absolute c**t if you dont go up?

Bellend Sebastian Posted 9 May 2010 Posted 9 May 2010 I can't imagine we'll play the same formation again on Wednesday. Waghorn was very isolated and just kept getting outmuscled. I don't think it's over yet by any stretch of the imagination, strong though Cardiff obviously are
