Tim Vickery rates Alexis Sanchez of Chile very highly. That's good enough for me.

Providing they're picked and played of course:

Gervinho (Ivory Coast)

Higuain (Argentina)

Muller (Germany)

Also looking out for Slovenia as a collective, I reckon they've got a great chance of getting out of group C with England, hopefully will send the yanks packing.

Chris Killen - New Zealand.

I can see him winning the golden boot this summer.

Christian Eriksen - Denmark

He's a star in the making indeed. Playing regularly for a very good Ajax team at his age is amazing.

He's a brilliant player. Very much looking forward to Chile as a collective as well. Their friendly against us and their match against Brazil showed what a potent attacking side they are, even though they are suspect at the back.

can't remember how to spell his name but Mezut Ozil of germany is supposed to be a quality player (signed by Weder Bremen to replace Diego)

He's very good indeed. Was a bit unlucky not to get selected for Euro 2008 IMO. Been a revelation next to Marko Marin this spring.

Signed him on FML and thought he was regen at first, he was younger than most of them :giggle:

Gourcuff was incredibly poor in the two matches against Ireland earlier in the year so not really expecting big things from him (or France for that matter).

Higuain/ Di Maria are definitely ones to watch but wil Maradonna play them?

Chile as a unit.

I've been very surprised at some of the omissions from the different coaches. Maradona not selecting Cambiasso and Zanetti borders on the criminal, but also omitting Lisandro Lopez, while selecting Jonas Guiterrez... Lippi selecting eight players from a very disappointing Juve side and none from Inter, while also omitting Totti who I gather has had a great season . The Honduras coach looking away from the top scorer in their domestic league. Capello leaving out Young. Olsen leaving out Junker. Del Bosque omitting Raul. Domenech not picking Benzema. Dunga selecting someone like Gilberto Silva but omitting Ronaldinho, Adriano, Ronaldo and Diego. Not to mention the many surprise selections here and there...

Obviously looking for a repeat of 1966 in more ways than one then. :P

Would've loved to have seen the proper Ronaldo in another World Cup, knew the chances were slim though. Adriano I can't really understand though, thought he'd be virtually a cert.

Hamsik of Slovakia and Suarez of Uruguay need to be in the Premiership next season. Both are mustard, but not sure if they'll show their real talents in the world cup as they play for absolute Dean Gaffneys.

He'll be alongside some decent players at the WC (not least Forlan) and I'll be looking out for him too. Good player, but performing wonders in the Dutch League doesn't necessarily equate to him doing well in England. See only Afonso Alves and Mateja Kezman for example.

There's been much talk about Hamsik (haven't seen much of him tbh), so he's definitely one to look out for too

Alexis Sanchez for Chile, by all reports is very, very good, so itll be good to see him on our screens

as it will to see the development of the young Argentinians Gonzalo Higuain and Angel Di Maria, both coming off the back of terrific seasons domestically.

I would also like to see some more of Ibrahim Afellay.
