I really hope he sorts himself out and finds a football league club that wants him. I've been ridiculously harsh on him as well, but I wouldn't wish that on him.

Jon Stevenson went from the premier league to sub for Corby Town within about 5 seasons ! he got released by Corby last year as he wasn't good enough & he's still under 30 so should be in his prime. It's amazing how some players careers nosedive.

Even if somebody said something out of line, do you think little Levi is going to sue Foxestalk for all its millions? There have been two separate occasions recently where Mark has been contacted about potential slanderous comments by the people they were about or representatives of them. Personally I think it's entirely reasonable that he, and other member's of the moderating team, are a bit wary of a thread that explicitly said what it said (especially when a lot of people have heard something on the contrary).

To go to a mid-table League 2 team in his first senior season and score 9 goals, despite being used mainly as an impact sub, indicates his natural goal scoring ability.He has been the biggest success out of all of our other attacking loanees this season, i.e Chambers, King etc. I have no doubts that he will go on and have a successful career in football and wish him all the best for the future.

Only academy graduates who have gone on to bigger and better things are Richard Stearman and Joe Mattock - but they were sold for decent fees. There is not a Leicester reject I can think of who have proved us wrong and gotten successful elsewhere. So I trust Rudkin & Beaglehole on this.
Flynny Posted 19 May 2010 Posted 19 May 2010 We shouldn't have kept him and he's been a bit of a late bloomer, but Chris O'Grady looks like he could have a decent career in League One, 25 goals in 45 apps for Rochdale last season. If he was ours and three years younger we'd be justifiably excited.

As I understand it some of the allegations were so off base they could have put Mark and the forum at serious risk so it wasn't a case of censoring the truth. It's not a case of whether Levi would sue it's a case of being consistent. It's sad that someone like you needs to question 'management' of the forum which is not an easy task with such a wide range of members especially as it's just titillation in this instance and no longer directly concerns the club or it's fans.

lcfc278 Posted 20 May 2010 Posted 20 May 2010 I'm concerned about Billy Kee leaving, I think this one will come back to haunt us. He's been recognised at International level with Northern Ireland and has a decent season at Accrington. He will improve with age, seems to be a natural goal scorer and is a strong as an ox. I can understand him wanting to go and get some first team experience in the lower leagues but releasing him thats a no for me. I would of loved to of seen him him come off the bench this season and been given a chance. His record at youth team level is outstanding. Good luck to the boy hope it works out for him elsewere. I will be watching his progress. I agree i think he was a quality talent and he will do well i think. I dont think we could have offered him much other than going out on loan for the next 2 years or so and if he wants stability then he can get that now. theres loads of league 2 teams after him so hopefully he'll do well
