Finchy Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 Lush? Are you Welsh? Could be alright, don't see what's wrong with Black and light blue though.
Narborough_fox Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 Lush? Are you Welsh? Could be alright, don't see what's wrong with Black and light blue though. Nah, just a lush word!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 Got faith in Joma to pull something half decent off. If we're talking about 'retro' colours, claret/light blue quarters would be class.
Koke Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 Always preferred this black kit over the yellow one. Even if we're gonna have yellow, they could improvise it a little. Cardiff's yellow away kit looks better than any yellow kit we've had in recent times.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 JAKO in general were awful. The home shirt felt like you were wearing Bin liner. Definitely one of the worst kits I've had.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 Only thing I'm slightly nervous about is that Joma do have a history of pushing out the odd steaming turd of a kit. Getafe did get a really bad deal here.
DanTheFox07 Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 does anyone remember that old yellow kit made by our own brand when we were in the premiership with walkers as our sponsor that kit was nice, well i liked it! along those lines and ill be happy to buy it, will no doubt have some white trim in it to break it up!
Ozwin Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 Hopefully it'll be a nice slimming shirt like our home one this season, if it's pretty much a carbon copy of that in a nice shade of yellow then I'll be pleased.

Beautiful!
FoxyPV Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 It's already been said but really not a fan of yellow (visions of the Newcastle travesty this season) and wish we'd keep this seasons away top. It was quality!
Guest parky0607 Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 When is the new kit released? When they've finished giving us 'sneaky peaks'! Do you reckon the whole stand out from the crowd motto might hint it might be illuminous... hinting that we can provide just as quality kits as barcelona... hinting we're just as good as barcelona ... or am I reading too much into this??
DanTheFox07 Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 Beautiful! yeah there is this one and another one from when the likes of iwan roberts played for us ! like a golden tinge in it will look for a picture if i get time.
MC Prussian Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 Why yellow again? We have a superb kit for once and they come up with the same old away colours. Red or a new take on the green 1983/1984 Ind Coope thing (the one with the yellow pinstripes) would've been much more classy. Yellow, on the other hand... Pfft.
dimmerchant Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 If it's similar design and colour to that I reckon it'll be quite nice. Even though that is a goalkeepers kit.
bluebeau Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 I reckon there's something sinister going on here! Why are the shirts being modelled by 3 non city players? Historically the football club have previously only chosen players that they consider will be at the club for the forthcoming season, yes? So by not choosing any players for the launch of the new away tops, does it mean that the whole bloody squad will be leaving before the start of the season?

The Topps Tiles kit was modelled by non players. I think they won a competition.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 I really wanted a red kit! Would have preffered white too, but nevermind.
BlueSi13 Posted 27 May 2010 Posted 27 May 2010 I'm not a hater of yellow kits by any means but does anybody know how the club came to be associated with the colour? I mean the three colours on our crest are blue, white and orange (and im sure we've never had an orange kit before) On a personal note id love us to alternate between our three original colours of black with blue sash, light blue with brown halves and then white!
PAULCFC Posted 28 May 2010 Posted 28 May 2010 Only thing I'm slightly nervous about is that Joma do have a history of pushing out the odd steaming turd of a kit. Getafe did get a really bad deal here. Just looking at the Burger King sponcership brought back memorys of the shirt for some Spanish side where it was printed on the inside with a picture of Mr B King,So we'll all be dancing to IOF with our shirt over our head with BLUE ARMY showing.Exciting new features for us!
Samilktray Posted 28 May 2010 Posted 28 May 2010 We should have an orange kit, that would be something special.
billyfox1 Posted 28 May 2010 Posted 28 May 2010 Next seasons sponsor will be Thomas Cook I thought that. Seemed a bit strange to be on the OS and completely unrelated to football
h1210 Posted 28 May 2010 Posted 28 May 2010 I thought that. Seemed a bit strange to be on the OS and completely unrelated to football Fairly sure they have a link up with most clubs (possibly even the Football League)
