MC Prussian Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 Very pleased with this signing. Rochdale fans seem to rate Kennedy highly and he will give us a lot more depth. I'm sure he's going to turn out an excellent piece of business and even feature in the odd game here and there next season - I don't know for how much longer we'll be able to hold onto Berner. However, what's slightly irritating about Kennedy is the fact that his penalty spot scoring abilities are to be mentioned that directly - why's that suddenly so important in a player profile?
Uncle Monty Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 JUST CALL ME MYSTIC FUCKING MEG. Great little signing. Haha it could be yoooouuuu! Found a clip of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYiaykdeC54&feature=related Where's our video of Bruno with gangster rap eh?
maddog Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 Young left back, passionate or he wouldn't have got chased by Bury fans, part of a promotion season with Rochdale, English. Free. Whats not to like. I'm the opposite, very inspired with this signing. And if it definitely means no more McGivern then even better.
DanTheFox07 Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 JUST CALL ME MYSTIC FUCKING MEG. Great little signing. haha classic!
MrSpaM Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 Kennedy made 158 appearances for Bury between 2002 and 2007, playing alongside City midfielder Nicky Adams. The pair are good friends, and Kennedy says Adams was happy to promote the virtues of playing for Leicester. "I know Nicky Adams really well and he was full of praise for the club. He said that there's a great set of lads here, and I'd fully enjoy it and fit right in." [/font] I think i'm probably more happy hearing this than about the signing tbh. Nicky was one of the players i expected to leave this summer due to lack of play time. Good to hear he's still singing our praises, hopefully we'll see more of him next season, always rated Adams. Still sounds like a good signing though.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 "It was a pretty straightforward decision in the end, the other clubs were good clubs but when Leicester City come calling you don't turn them down." - I like this guy already Seriously, sounds good to me. At the very least cover & competition for Bruno at left back. Young enough to be a long-term replacement if things work out as well. Fingers crossed.
shen Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 Like this, sounds like a classic Nigel signing. Hopefully it is not just another rumour. Another 'Morrison' would do quite nicely indeed!
Mickey O'Neil Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 Don't know why people are saying he will hardly get a game next season? Didn't take Hobbs long to make himself a regular, can't see why Kennedy can't do the same. Also, who would have thought Tony Spearing would have displaced Oakley? I won't pretend to know anything about him but I'm chuffed with this signing.

Salieri Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 Seems a very promising signing, wouldn't be surprised to see him first choice ahead of Berner and not the other way round. Good call by MTWG.
Narborough Bod Posted 13 June 2010 Posted 13 June 2010 I reckon you are 25 or younger then mate!! ;-) Tony Spearing = Glen Medeiros
Zingari Posted 13 June 2010 Posted 13 June 2010 Wonder who he voted for... Democrats ; it's a family thing
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 9 July 2010 Posted 9 July 2010 Interesting to see what Sousa thinks as this was Pearsons signing.
Matt Posted 9 July 2010 Posted 9 July 2010 Interesting to see what Sousa thinks as this was Pearsons signing. Or was it a Mandaric signing? Although if it was a Mandaric signing i'd expect it to be a much bigger high profile name, but the way I see it and have heard Sousa been in weeks, it was just a case of getting rid of Pearson. Perhaps Sousa told Mandaric he wanted Kennedy and Mandaric got him in? But I believe Pearson was out soon after the playoff's but not officially - It was a case of getting another job and if thats the case why would A) Pearson bother bringing new players in and B) If Mandaric knew he was getting rid of Pearson why would Mandaric agree to the signing? You can come up with many conspiricy theorys, They may not be true but i'd imagine i'm not a million miles away from the truth.

A disgraceful decision but thats for another day. You could well be right that it may be a Mandaric signing, but i'd say if this was the case we'd be more likely to see Andy Cole make a return to football or Hernan Crespo or somebody similiar
dandannieldanok Posted 9 July 2010 Posted 9 July 2010 Steve Walsh said he'd be watching Kennedy for a while, it's a Pearson signing.

Another bash at M.M.

Am I the only one getting bored of this anti Mandaric stance you hold which you need to remind us of with every post, especially when the majority is nonsensical made up bollocks?

Yeah cos i'm the only one. And don't give me the "Yeah but you consistently, every post post the comments" because many other people have been more anti-Mandaric, have slagged him off more, and gone into detail about his finances and how much he supports the club i.e Finances and do this regularly, I only do it when he does something wrong and it's quite clear he has been wrong now, what has been done is done and we'll move on but he deserves the slagging off at the moment and hope to god he's out of the club soon - Where we end up after him is worrying but under his ownership is quite worrying tbh - Who is he going to upset next?
