Bellend Sebastian Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 He looks like Chris Martin from Coldplay. Hopefully he's not a massive racist
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Sky are usually fairly reliable when it comes to things like this, and its saying we hae signed him rather tha m just after gim. You never know it might appear on the OS by the end of the month!
Guest Bilo Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Left back sounds like good news to me. Hopefully he'll be good cover for Berner at least and possibly a good long-term replacement. It sounds like McGivern won't be coming back next season either.
martyn Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Sounds like a perfect back up for Bruno initially, hopefully he can progress into something better.
Uncle Monty Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Like everyone is saying, good cover for for bruno is good
Libertine Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Stringer just mentioned this on Twitter. Finally a signing.
eleven points Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 He's been in the League 2 team of the year for the last 2 years.
teblin Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Looked a decent player the couple of times i have seen him. Good on the ball put good crosses in. Decent signing.
ousefox Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Seems like good cover for Bruno. Won't be on high wages and will be free as we don't have to pay compensation now he's 24 i think.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 In Nigel we trust. This made me laugh though: On the 29th August Rochdale played host to Tom's former club Bury in a League Two clash at Spotland. Rochdale were leading 2-0 when Will Buckley was brought down in the box to win a penalty. Tom Kennedy stepped up and added the 3rd goal and then celebrated the goal by cupping his ear and running along the wing in front of all of the Bury fans celebrating. This resulting in the Bury fans jumping onto the pitch and one even chased Kennedy. Kennedy received a yellow card for his actions.
MikeyT Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Don't know anything about the lad, but by all accounts from what i've read he should be a good signing. I have a mate who's a Rochdale fab so have asked his opinion.

A repeat at the City Ground would make him a legend overnight in my opinion.

Well Tom Kennedy or TK as we call him is a terrific left back and imo far to good for us and we have been spoilt with him the past few years. His ball control, distribution and crossing is top notch. He also had a decent free kick and penalty. He is overall well disciplined and i am convinced he will become your number 1 left back next season i promise you that. I have no problem with TK leaving he has done the job he was brought into do and now wants to enhance his career. if he continues to develop i see no reason why he cant be a premier league left back. Thanks for the memories Tom Best wishes next season
Fosse Boy Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Good signing, young, ambitious just what we need. Definitely.
Joe. Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Feeling quite optimistic about this one. He won't be coming in as first choice by any means but he'll certainly give Berner the competition he's lacked so badly for too long. After that who knows, but I think we've got a good one on our hands by the sounds of it.
Jonezy Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Like this, sounds like a classic Nigel signing. Hopefully it is not just another rumour.

pooleyLCFC Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Sounds promising and he cant be any worse than McGivern
DanTheFox07 Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Sounds promising and he cant be any worse than McGivern Why compare him to mcgivern??
Jimbo Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 To be fair I've just read that Sky Sports reported last week that the same player has agreed a 3 year contract with Doncaster, so until someone actually reports this as 'fact' then I'm not sure I can believe too much in the story. Not saying that it isn't true but until he's unveiled as our player I won't be 100% convinced
lcfc"weasel" Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Should be good cover for Berner next season and may even progress to being better than him in future years, good signing in my opinion.
