Guest Bilo Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Apparently betting's been suspended. It's not on the Victor Chandler site anymore. Gone from Oddschecker as well and was there an hour ago, with SkyBet the only layer offering odds. Unless I'm mistaken, this could very well be a done deal.

Bugg Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Sounds like this is a done deal according to some people on here, I think that with the strong defense and the strike force (which I think is more potent than Swansea) that we already have, we could have a good manager to replace Pearson on our books
Edmund Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 SkyBet the only layer offering odds. I think it's now been taken down from there. Can't seem to find it.
BoneDog Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Sousa it is then!! No way the odds would disappear otherwise, surely. I'm happy with this move, let's hope Sousa and the lads can carry on the recent success
ramboacdc Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Avoid the Big Three (Ladbrokes, Hills, Coral) like the plague. Not great to work for at all. Smaller ones are better in my experience, the pay's better and you work under less red tape and control. Apart from that, they aren't terrible places to work really, especially if you're into your sport. I chat shit about football all day and get paid. Not all roses though, you don't half get some unsavoury cvnts in bookies. And they always win as well. Bastards. i work for coral i love my job to a degree. i sit and talk about football all day and drink coffee and watch the football at night. get shouted at by polish and aisian people sometimes and have so much red tape around me i need a c list celebrity to come cut it and declare me open. if youre going for a job with a bookie matey just say that you like sport. people, flexible and can follow rules. they LOVE it. would of replied sooner but i was figuring out my laying odds on betfair to what ive backed on hills. yes i know.....very sad thing to be doing at 2am on a thursday morning........didnt even get it figured out

Only ever worked in Argos.
ramboacdc Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Appreciate it My lack of experience is doing my nut in though. Only ever worked in Argos. as long as you are alright with numbers and interview well youll get the job and probably love it just say goodbye to your saturdays.
Matt Posted 1 July 2010 Author Posted 1 July 2010 Just to counter people saying betting has been suspended I went on Skybet about this time yesterday morning and nothing was there for betting on the Leicester manager (Victor Chandler was under maintenance) seems as if they take the option to bet on manager markets offline over night incase anything happens over night perhaps?
Alexikokopops Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Sousa looked a right handsome geezer on the touchline in his stylish suit in the Cardiff/Swansea game last season. I was in complete awe. You're not the only one. I'm going to get his face tattooed on my chest Sousa is a right looker When City played Swansea in the cup I spent more time in awe of his irresistable silver locks. He looks like an architect. He's a dream boat. We could play the worst football in the world and it wouldn't matter, I'd just spend match after match lost in his eyes. I imagine Milan/whoever has already got a Sousa/LCFC clothing and grooming products range in his mind, available from the megastore I'm all over L'eau de Sousa
Corky Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Warming to this idea. Yes, the lack of goals last season was worrying but why should that be the same here? Who knows, we might slot home 100 in the league?
Guest Bilo Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Betting has reopened with Sousa at 1/4 now, slightly shorter still than he was yesterday. Second favourite is Brendan Rodgers at 11/2 and Mowbray behind him. Everyone else is at ridiculous unbackable odds. The bookies seem more or less convinced to be honest.
davieG Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Sousa 10/1 for the Fulham job with Skybet http://www.skybet.com/betting/football/manager-specials/t10002896.html
Guest Bilo Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Sousa 10/1 for the Fulham job with Skybet http://www.skybet.com/betting/football/manager-specials/t10002896.html Doubt they'd go for him when an experienced manager like Curbishley who achieved success with Charlton in the Premiership is available.
MrSpaM Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Odds have gone again... Their probably just removing Grayson from them now he's definatly said he's not coming here
Bert Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 It's Sousa. Has been for ages, it was just a case of Milan getting rid of Pearson. Why do you think after previously saying he wouldn't welcome an approach for Pearson he's all of a sudden "accepted"? Why was Sousa Mandaric's guest at the Cardiff game?

Why do you think after previously saying he wouldn't welcome an approach for Pearson he's all of a sudden "accepted"? Why was Sousa Mandaric's guest at the Cardiff game? Milan is a disabled if true. Pearson massively over-acheived on the relatively meagre budget he gave him and then to pork him from behind like that. Fvcking stupid. I'm sure Sousa will do alright but is he really much better than Pearson? Doubt it. Are Sousa and whoever advises him on his dodgy transfers better than Pearson and Steve Walsh? Definitely fvcking not.
samlcfc! Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 the fact that Steve Howard is on there, means that there is something someone may know which we don't!
C-man Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 the fact that Steve Howard is on there, means that there is something someone may know which we don't! In what way? He's 50/1.
Unabomber Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 the fact that Steve Howard is on there, means that there is something someone may know which we don't! By that logic everyone who is there is going to be our manager. I wonder if they will all be able to work together...

They take a lot of markets down, no staff in overnight and cant control their liabillities could come in next morning to find their pants round their ankles and suffering a severe spanking :-)
